I made the beet burgers! Mine held together. I chilled then after forming the patty I chilled again. Inside was a little mushy but my heat was too high. I only cooked one so the other 3 I know what to do. I am not a big fan of fennel or thyme - might omit the thyme (the fennel was not overpowering). I had a couple bites that had no thyme and it didn't taste flavorless. If I can figure out how to post a pic - I will in the food porn board.

My name's Cindy, I'm 20 years old from a small town in Northern California. I've only been a vegan for a week but I felt the health benefits after my first day (no more headaches, more energy, no more constipation (and that's something i've struggled with for the past 6 years!). Now I never want to go back to how I previously ate. My food actually tastes a lot better too. I've been loving making Green smoothies and recently tried Vanilla Hemp + Chia Seed protein powder - delicious! See you all around. :)

Hellow. My name is Jessica, I've been vegan before and then i went on a burning train wreck. Now i'm really trying to stay vegan... I love vegan baking, always have that never changed on my train wreck. I love cooking and finding different recipes, I'm trying to stay gluten-free since i have a lot of belly problems and i'm seeing if that helps with them, so far it has.

I have a big asparagus dog named Bruno - he is a Great Dane and a Saint Bernard mix (we think) and a less big asparagus dog named Bella (I did NOT name her!) who is half Neapolitan Mastiff :) I like to call her Bella-Zora so Twilight doesn't seep into my brain and eat me.

Hello :) I'm half way through reading Melisser Elliott's 'The vegan girl's guide to life', which recommends this site. I've been vegetarian since I was 11 (I'm 27 now), and vegan for about 7 months so am still new to it! I am a pretty shiitake at cooking and mostly live off pasta bake hence me joining this forum to get some tips and ideas for recipes etc. as I don't know any other vegans :/

Oh, I've never had a tater tot. They're one of Napoleon Dynamite's food staples though, right?
