Howdy!
So Brie, Phoebe and I will be living in your lovely city in less than 2 months. I'm going to get my AMI elementary diploma at the Montessori Institute....so yay!
I'm looking for places, hopefully nearish to Belmont but we shall see.
So....good vets? Particularly canine opthamologists....I know that's likely a long shot. I'm likely going to just go up to Vancouver (as in Canada, not Washington) for my eyeball appointments as your health care system is...different.
Also- anybody want to be friends? I can watch your pets if you sometimes watch mine!

Hello!! I am a fellow AMI Montessorian in PDX, although I studied primary education and have been out of the classroom for a long time. I have a friend who will also be studying primary education at MNW this Fall! My experiences there have been just wonderful, I'm sure you'll love it. I have good news for you. Mt. Tabor Veterinary care is just two blocks from MNW and my dog's vet, Dr. Sulis is amazing. She is also vegan. The other vets at the clinic are also stellar, but I have extra special love for Sulis. Mt. Tabor is amazing. I see Dr. Bussman, but I have heard amazing things about all the Mt. Tabor doctors. I am seriously a Mt. Tabor evangelist. I have dealt with some very intense veterinary issues recently, and I am so glad I had them.

I'm another Mt. Tabor Vet person - although we may be changing due to having 5 fur-babies and living too far away from Mt. Tabor...they are $$$, but I doubt the are any more than any other vet in the city.
You could check Dove-Lewis Vet Hospital for a specialist....
Yea Portland...you will be moving here at a good time of the year!!

Yes, Dr Kirschner is great. I went to her for rabbit eye issues several years ago.
