Potluck Fun Time

Let's do it. Bring your own plate and fork and delicious tasty food.
Are there picnic tables at Laurelhurst? I can bring a couple of sheets to spread out on the ground. We can get a more exact head count a little closer to the date so we can figure out how much food to bring.

There are definitely picnic tables in one or two parts, right? I'm also just as big a fan of blankets, too. I'll bring Julialegume if she's off that day and make something picnic-y!

There are picnic tables under the trees a bit closer to 39th (it's where my reception was!) and some in the middle of the park.

I'm hoping hoping hoping I can come.

We can reserve a picnic area in the park for a fee.
There are two different 3-table areas at Laurelhurst that we can reserve from 2:30 pm until 9 pm for $22.50

Any interest in this or should we just see what's available when we get there and plan to bring blankets as a backup?
This permit will also allow us to legally bring beer or wine into the park, if you're into that sort of thing.

I am fine with paying no money and sitting in the grass if needed.

I am planning to bring gluten free toffee bars and something savory to be determined.

There is so much space at Laurelhurst, I don't see the point in paying to reserve space...also if you want to drink beer or wine just pour it in a water bottle, just saying.

I am coming, probably with Vee and hopefully with Dazee. I've had family here all week, so I'm guessing I'll bring something xgfx and easy. We shall see.

Ha! I was thinking of gettin' chopped. But I am not.
I am thinking I may do my potato salad and the GF toffee bars. I may also bring a fresh zucchini salad.
There are a bunch of tables right inside the 37th street south entrance if we wanted to try to grab something there and stay in that area.

I'm not sure what we're doing yet? It's my birthday weekend and Alex is being secretive about our plans, so I probably won't know until like an hour beforehand! If we do come I'm making my jalapeno popper dip. If not, too bad for you.

I am really really trying to make it work so I can do this and go berry picking but it will probably be my only opportunity for berry picking this year...
