So Eddie hasn't done a visible poop for a few days (which we weren't worried about as he goes outside mostly anyway) but now he seems to have stopped eating and I found a massive pile of puke on the sofa.
He goes to the vet tomorrow morning and I am a bit freaked.
I hope it is just a hairball but after Patsy I am prepared for hellish news.
Prayers to your deity/scientific discipline of choice would be appreciated.
Mat.

Sending lots of love and healing vibes to Eddie. The good news about the puking is that his body recognized something was up and tried to rid itself of the bad stuff. Please let us know how the vet appt goes.

Thinking good thoughts for Eddie. Crossing my fingers that it is just a hairball or something equally benign.

Well we have poop people and he is definitely feeling better and more purry. I am still going to take him to the vet tomorrow.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Mat.

Chewie was just in for poop problems. The vet gave me some meds and said to make sure he gets his laxatone. I hope Eddie is in the same boat and it's a simple fix.

Well it turns out he is fine. No blockage and he was hugely indignant about not being fed this morning before going to the vet's.
She did suggest adding a little olive oil to his food to keep things moving along.
Very Very relieved.
