My mom just called to tell me that they're putting our dog Ted to sleep tomorrow. Also, the dog that my boyfriend in college and I had died in July and I just found out last week. Here they are when they were young and crazy. Ted is on the right and Coop is on the left.

My husband is being so positional. He can't just say he made a mistake, even a really small one, he has to get defensive and attack me, veganism and our relationship. And no matter how hard I try not to engage I pretty much get exhausted and want to go to sleep now.

thanks. They were old dogs and had good lives. I wish I had gotten to see Coop again. They moved to Kauai 4 years ago. Also, I am torn about going to Seattle to say goodbye to Ted. The last time I saw him he wasn't doing too bad and I said goodbye to him then in case I didn't see him again, but now my mom said he doesn't even always know who she is.

My kindergartner came home today and wanted to know who was the man who was being mean to me in the newspaper. The teacher had a copy of it with the latest front page vitriolic diatribe against me by a guy who has hired two lobbyists and a public relations firm to try and intimidate me. I hate that she's worried about this. This guy has been publishing insults and lies for over a month and I hate that it has come into her classroom.

Lebalu, I'm sorry that is still going on. I know you said that in your position you can't respond, and I know that must make this so much harder on you. And I'm sorry it came into your child's classroom.

Losing my workout high because I got another email from my dad.

I woke up with an itchy rash all over my neck and face. Oh, joy!!

I drove half an hour to go to yoga, only to find that it was cancelled. She couldn't have called, or sent an email? 60 minutes round-trip, in the pouring rain, for nothing. I have shiitake to do, lady.

Aw, big hugs, Katie. Even when they've had a good long life, it's still tough to say goodbye.

They have been fixing the exit that I need to take to get to school for the past year and a half and today they decided to shut down an additional lane. My 30 minute drive took an hour. I forking love Northern Virginia.

I'm kind of a dumbpants. It's hard to finish studying for your chem midterm when your textbook is in your locker at school. I had a nice schedule made up that I've been following, so I only had two sections, or about 30 questions, to do tonight. And it's ruined. Fan-fucking-tastic.

I know it's only noon, but:

I was 1/2 hour late for work
I cut my finger on my global (ow!)
My coworker has decided to come in 2 hours late with no apologies. Screwing over pretty much everyone she works with and her clients. She STILL isn't here and she has a client waiting for her. I have no idea what to do.
My house is a mess and I'll be too tired to clean it later. BBBLLLLAAAAHHHH.
I'm not excited about the lunch I packed.

It's only nooooon.

Two days ago one of my best friends told me he like likes me and now I'm still not sure how we can be good friends without me feeling bad/guilty (even though I can acknowledge that I shouldn't necessarily). Today is probably the day where I need to respond like an adult - I just freaked out at the time (um, and hid in a boat).

aaaaaand today he tripped on the stairs and hit his head AGAIN. gigantic goose egg. i drove him home early. i feel like shiitake.

Urrrgh. Today I had to phone in sick to work because I was puking and fainting all over the place. Ordinarily that wouldn't be an issue... but I'm already on a warning for being off too much in the past year (I had hideous migraines that kept me off for approx a week in january) I'm worried as I don't know if the 'warning' expired at the end of September or isn't out until the end of October. If the latter I am in major forking shiitake.

The worst part about my day was dealing with people on the phone. Most of my job involves calling clients and sometimes I wonder if it costs them something to be nice to people. Seriously.

I freaked out at work because no one did anything while the bosses were away except me. Like one guy literally did nothing but watch How I met Your Mother from 9 am until 1 pm while I stared daggers into the back of his head while I did everything.

My partner ate every single brownie we got for meal group last night. While I was asleep.

He didn't touch the soup or focaccia, so maybe he thought it was a fair trade.

The sinking feeling of dread that I am simply. Not. Working. Hard. Enough. fork law school. fork it up and down.

I just wanna sleep. So I'm not tired during the day. Or semi-cranky. So, my worst thing about my day is due to my night being all forked up. Regulate yourself, self.
