My main purpose for spraying my hair is to keep stray hairs and frizz from springing up. I have straight hair but this is a problem for me. I have tried BWC hair gel and spray and even the combo of the two does not work to keep my hair straight and smooth.

You could try Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum to tame the frizz, only use a tiny bit though because it's a silicone product and can weight hair down, and then you could use Paul Mitchell Hold Me Tight hairspray to keep it in place. They're pricey, but worth it.

I used to love Aerogel (old school product) but don't know if it's vegan.

I'm pretty sure the V05 hair spray is vegan (someone let me know if I'm wrong!). I have super straight hair and it works pretty well to keep things under control for me, and it's cheap.

V05 are owned by Albert Culver, who were bought by Unilever in 2010. So it's a personal call if you buy stuff from companies with parent companies that test.

My hair is fine and very straight. I put Adorn to the test by making waves and curls with a curling iron by very lightly spraying each section of hair before curling it (waiting until it dried, of course), and then gave it a light spraying at the end.
