lately i've been seeing talk of butter london's new lipgloss, named lippy, making the rounds on ye olde beauty blogs. as an anglophile, i love butter london (though i have yet to own any of their products as i am a poor nursing student), and i think the colors and their product names are wonderful. i still want their "no more waity, katie" polish. here is a link where you can see the names and colors available for the lipgloss: http://www.butterlondon.com/catalog/57/lippy-lipglossi knew their nail polish is vegan (hooray!), but wasn't sure about the lipgloss, nor could my google-fu unearth an ingredients list, so i e-mailed the company. here is their response: Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for your email. The full range of butter LONDON products are cruelty-free. They are free of animal products, have never been tested on animals, and never will be. Thank you for your interest!
Cheers,

i saw these today at ULTA for $19 each, i believe. i swatched the testers on my hand and they are super-pigmented! they felt a bit sticky and thick, but i think that would mean that they are long-lasting... i hope.
a bit unrelated, but i bought my first butter london polish today ("no more waity, katie") and when i went to butter london's site, they are having a 3 for $30 sale with their polish-- just add three polishes to your cart and enter code "SPRING" at checkout. seeing that their polish is usually $14 apiece, this is a good sale! i don't know when this code expires.

Bringing up an old post...
I bought Snog the other day for summer fun. The gloss stays on for awhile...The smell/taste is like old lady perfume though...

They actually aren't British. I think they are based in Seattle.

i finally bought one of these (in toff) and it's pretty nice, i think. i'm having a pajama day so i'm not wearing makeup, just slapped this on plain to try it. the smell is really nice, like vanilla/caramel or something. i've read that the early ones smelled bad, and they reformulated, heh. anyhow, this one is a sheer pink and i think it will look nice over a couple of lipsticks i have. it's a bit sticky, but nothing obnoxious... i'm hoping it just means it will wear longer.

Yeah, based on the nail polish names alone I never imagined them to be British. Unless they were really taking the peas out of themselves in some new circle of hell level.
But it's always great when more companies are bringing out vegan-friendly items!
eta: ooops, sorry, older thread! And I'm usually so good at noticing these things!
