(I'm glad the internet has everything already up somewhere for me to reference... so I don't even have to find and scan books. Yay!)

This thread forced me to have noochy toast for dinner. I wanted baked beans on toast. But, I discovered the can of baked beans in my cupboard is not vegan.... Either I picked up the wrong kind at the market or they belong to the hubs. Either way, great sadness. I might be forced to make baked beans from scratch in the crockpot to fulfill this need. Damn you, toast, damn you!!!

This thread made me toast an english muffin and eat it with eb. It was sad and disappointing. I want chewy crusty sourdough toast. Sad face.

My grandma likes toast. So does my mom. (My sister and I would still rather eat scones.)

If you get a bread card at WF for their store bakery breads, every 6th loaf is free. I got a free loaf of multi-grain bread today, much of which will be used for toast and toasted sandwiches.

I am eating toast now thanks to this thread. Peanut butter and strawberry rhubarb jam I made a couple weeks ago. I love toast. It is the perfect evening snack to eat when I really want a cookie but have none. It is sweet and crunchy and delicious.

Ok. I ate some humous. And roast veggies. They may or may not have been piled on top of spelt toast, which may or may not have been the most delicious thing ever.

I love toasted english muffins. I don't understand how it could be sad and disappointing. Did you toast it long enough? When it split apart, one side was all plump and smooth, with no nooks and crannies, and ended up under-toasted. The other side was all nooks and crannies and was over-toasted into a sad husk. And I still want sourdough toast.

I came home from work all excited to eat some toast, but Boyfriend took the bread to work so he could have toast for lunch. This is over.

I never eat toast! I don't have a toaster! But toast smell totally reminds me of New Zealand. It's such an Anglo-Saxon smell!
