Cleveland meetup: late July/early August

I'm coming to help coordinate an event hosted at Case Western and will be in Cleveland from July 29 (evening) til August 8 (early afternoon). Is anybody interested in a meetup? I would happily bring speculoos in exchange for dark miso, e.g. Lunches near the university are possible; otherwise dinners (if you give directions) and breakfasts*. I won't have a car, but I like meeting vegans! And geeking out!

Let me know what sounds good/possible to you :o)

* best recent breakfast memory: pandacookie picking me up at sunrise in Portland to go for vegan waffle sammiches. omg.

Bonus points if you know anything about ceilidh or Irish set dancing in the area. I know there's a huge festival happening just before I arrive, but beyond that, google fails me.

Lunch at Tommy's sometime? It's max 10 minutes from Case Western. We have to visit my in-laws in Massachusetts that week, so I can't give you a date yet until that's settled. Sound like a possibility?

Yeah! That place sounds great! (And yes - absolutely. Figure out your travel plans & let me know. If you want me to bring anything Dutch, I have to find out before the 28th, though before the 20th would be nice as I have another int'l trip before this one.)

Interesting! (In that case, you probably know all the vegan things NL has to offer. In case not: white chocolate, various pates, lots of sprinkles, essene bread, speculoos/speculaas & etc.)

Lutin, it looks like we will be going out of town on Monday, so I don't think it's going to happen. I hope you have a great stay in Cleveland....and I'm sorry.
