LimeCrime made 'vegan' products that were in fact far from vegan and said she did not know what vegan was.

Nooooo, they are not the same person. GS is finally out of business, Lime Crime is run by a fur wearing, lying, shady crasshole. Her 'eye dusts' are just repackaged TKB micas, that are marked up a few hundred percent. She claimed her products were vegan when they were full of carmine and beeswax, and when people pointed out she was in fact, stupid, she says they reformulated them to be vegan (reports on if they were reformulated to be less shitty are sparse).

Never mind the fur wearing, designer cat buying crepe, she constantly posts photos, some of herself and some of other people without credit, claiming they're using Lime Crime products when it's proven they're not. And they are craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap. Even people who are giving positive reviews post swatches that are pretty horrible looking, because they don't know any better:

Lime Crime also threatens to sue bloggers who post negative reviews of her products, and sent all her fan girls after Temptalia (a well known beauty blogger) when Temptalia posted a mixed review of LC lipsticks, not only did LC tell her fans to comment on the post, but she also gave out Temptalia's personal email address so people could harass her there as well.

And from what I'm seeing her lipsticks still contain beeswax.

eta the beeswax thing is up in the air, she says she reformulated, and her ingredient list doesn't contain beeswax, but some websites selling her stuff still list beeswax. Frankly, I don't trust her at all, and my default is to assume she just changed the ingredient list and not the product.

Lime Crime has teens blogging for her now. Also whenever I see her lipstick on people I think cheap Halloween makeup...

I have some delightful gossip about LC, but I can't remember where I read it and since I can't source it, I won't say.

I've never bought Urban Decay before 'cause it's expensive and until a month ago there was no where in town that sold it. Now that we finally got a Sephora , I might check out this mascara everyone raves about.

Lime Crime lipsticks are vegan and have some pretty cool colours. I'll never buy from her though, I don't wanna support a company like that. Are Glittersniffer still going? If so that is forking horrifying.

And Jessi, I'm with you. If L'Oreal and their brands stopped testing I'd buy stuff from them!

Can someone explain to me how Urban Decay is not "indie". As far as I know they are still independently owned and operated. Is it just because they've grown and become successful? If Sugarpill grows their business will they no longer be indie?
