I made lemongrass tofu bun and a Thai iced tea with ginger rum in it and now I'm on the internet! Wooo.

I baked blueberry chocolate chip muffins (used the bakery muffin recipe in Vegan Brunch), drank sake, and I'm listening to Voltaire, The Cure, and Venetian Snares. Don't listen to anyone who says blueberries and chocolate don't go together, they are wonderful and detractors should be shunned.

I went to two grocery stores, made lasagna sauce, drank a beer and made cashew ricotta. The beer makes it a party. Woohoo, Friday night!

It is saturday here now (am I allowed to post about saturday in here?) and I made a complete lasagna and plan on drinking more than one beer to make up for last night!

I made maple toffee and played World of Warcraft. And I'm working on a baby blanket for my friends' new baby.

I slept a lot Friday night, which was nice. Today, my mother has gone to the summer cottage for the weekend, and I can't go because my bunny still needs to be medicated twice a day. So I'm just going to have to have a super awesome fun weekend at home! Plans are as follows:

1. Eat some food
2. Read some books
3. Watch some Netflix

There. Best weekend ever.

I ate a curry and watched a conspiracy show about the Philadelphia experiment.

My boyfriend praised me because I managed to stay up past 11. Same goes for last night. Wooo!

I'm tired.

My roommate and I watched some surprisingly good made-for-TV movies on Netflix, then I watched her play Medieval Sims for a while, then I read and fell asleep by 11:30. I drank a lite cider while watching the Netflix stuff. . . utter insanity, y'all.

I spent two hours painting my face like Santa Muerte by Sylvia Ji and realized that there is no alcohol whatsoever in my house. I could really go for some Jamaican rum.

I just finished making a batch of bread and butter pickles with cucumbers from my garden. Now I'm drinking a glass of my favorite wine and doing whatever I want. Yay.

I'm drinking wine and henna-ing my hair. My bf went out and I actually love sitting at home by myself, drinking and watching movies sometimes, so i seized the chance.

PB&J sandwiches and hunching over my computer doing horrible boring graphic design work in my ridiculous 95 degree room covered in gross sweat

I am listening to David Hasselhoff and have never in my wee life eaten or even seen a PB & J. Am I doing this life thing wrong?

Got my nipples bitten and am now on the internet. I had a huge mocha ice-coffee with vanilla icecream. So good.

My best friend is here visiting from NY. I haven't seen them in like three years. A couple hours ago they were like, "Uh-oh, I don't feel so good, do you mind if I lie down for a little bit?" and they've been passed out on my couch ever since. So I am now just...hanging out in my bedroom, playing video games by myself. We have a whole bunch of people coming over here tomorrow for our birthday party (our birthdays are Aug 20th and 21st!) and I really hope I don't have to uninvite everyone. :(

The kids are asleep, I had some wine and now I'm thinking about knitting but maybe I'll just loll about on the floor instead.

My main plan for the night is transcribing an interview I did today about a chest binder exchange program. And maybe making myself a cocktail.

yeah, there was a lot of tragedy surrounding the release of the dark knight rises, and yeah, i really loved heath ledger, and the friend i saw the dark knight with in the theater died before i got to see him again, and i've been avoiding batman-related things even though i love them because i expected them to make me feel some feelings. i still think the two and a half hours i just spent sobbing into my papasan cushion were way out of proportion. note to self: do not force yourself to face things when your uterus is preparing to lay you prostrate atop a crimson tide.

Laying on my bed in my underwear in this heat. Listening to the new Anneke Van Giersbergen album that I just downloaded. Husband is in his man-cave watching tv on dvd with my dog. I could use some lovin'.

I went out for flatbread and roasted garlic with a coworker I see pretty much 24/7 and then I came home and half-watched Masterchef with my boyfriend and cat.

had 70 y/o neighbors over for dinner, then watched mystic pizza with my mom while we both yelled at the characters about their life choices.

My partner is away, so my Friday night featured a mud mask, a manicure, massaged kale salad topped with a Sophie's crab cake (impulse HFS buy; surprisingly good!), random internet time wastage, and a few chapters of Wuthering Heights in bed with Lucy. All in all, a satisfactory evening!

I just ate a cracker off the floor. Also it's saturday, I fail this thread once again.

I ate thai takeout and watched a few episodes of House
