Wow haven't been on here in ages anyhoo. My birthday is next week and I invited omni friends over for a veg ice cream social just wanted to ask"
Any idea's for fun vegan-but omni friendly ice cream toppings?
So far i have nuts, veg sprinkles, mini choco chips, some turtle flavored sprinkles that seem to to be veg, i plan on crushing pb newman oh's and cutting up fresh local peaches and strawberries. I guess i want idea's since i feel like most of my toppings so far are chocolatey
Thanks for the input!

Biscoff spread is my top pick for vanilla ice cream. Bet it would rock on chocolate, too.
All fruit spreads can be nice.

My mom used to make PB ice cream topping by blending peanut butter with corn syrup... clearly not a health food, but it tasted surprisingly good. Though you already have PB Newman O's going... Hmm. Maybe bananas and cherries for making splits? Butterscotch sauce/chips?
Also, this sounds like a fantastic party.

Healthy Top! I could eat this stuff on it's own, but it's really great on ice cream. Dandies? Bananas?

I was about to suggest straight-up nut butter, but this sounds better for topping ice cream. . . less rich and probably easier to pour. If you can get them, crushed Chick-O-Sticks would be lovely. Granola, crushed pretzels, maple syrup. . .?

Make rose petal syrup- very easy. Petals of two large dark coloured roses picked when they are dry and warmed by the sun, white bases cut off (bitter). Boil up in two cups of water and one of sugar, stirring constantly, until it starts to bubble up (not just boiling but starting to rise in the pan). Strain out the rose petals and reduce gently to the consistency you like. It should be a beautiful pink colour and deliciously floral smelling.

This is my new favorite thread.
If you can find it, caramel sauce and/or salted caramel sauce. Granola. Diced dried fruit. Candied peppers (not sure if your omni friends would like that). Spiced nuts.

I know you said you already had a lot of chocolate, but: the Hershey's brand of magic shell is vegan (the stuff you pour on and it hardens like an ice cream bar coating). Crushed Oreos are great on ice cream. In non-chocolate: there is a marshmallow ice cream topping that is vegan, I think it's made by Smuckers. I find it with all the other ice cream topping things at the grocery store. It's amazing on chocolate ice cream. You really can't do ice cream without a big jar of maraschino cherries, preferably the kind with the stem on.

I've poured agave on ice cream before - it kind of freezes and sticks to your teeth in a way that makes you feel like a child again.

My husband made a blackberry coulis by stewing blackberries quickly (around 5 minutes) with sugar, a pinch of cinnamon and a dash of red wine, then pushed it through a sieve to remove the seeds. Can't wait to eat this on an ice cream sundae tonight :)

Sour cherry sauce, caramelized chopped hazelnuts, toasted flaked almond, toasted coconut, caramel sauce (as in: heat some sugar and wait until it darkens, then add some creamer and salt), hot raspberries, chocolate peppermint patties, salty licorice sauce (this is a thing in Sweden), mocha sauce, roasted salted peanuts, chocolate covered nuts, praline, truffles, cookie dough, crêpes...

QgodsWkA2git's a pretty disturbing ingredient wise...i think it' also a little on the blue side (if i remember correctly). you'd be better off making something out of dandies maybe? xo kittee
