I had a feeling that something like that was going to happen with Russell. It was just all too easy to wrap up that neatly, and we're not that far into the season yet.

Yeah, I didn't think that Russell would die. The actor's name is in the opening credits now.
I laughed so hard when Eric glamored Alcide. "You're kind of disgusted by her."
CLAUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew it was him! So glad he's not a Fabio-wannabe.

Yes, too many subplots! Nothing actually happened because they spent 5 minutes on 10 different plots.
I am extremely uninterested Terry's subplot.
I like Lafayette's mom. I'd be okay with seeing more of her.

Meloniiiii! I was so excited about him being on the show; they just broke my heart right there.
I don't care much about the Terry subplot, but it's better than Jason and Hot Shot from last year. I'm semi-into the Sam/Luna plot (I thought she was dead! glad she's not). And Lafayette's is okay, only because I want to see more of him and Jesus.
But yeah, no one getting it on is the weirdest thing happening this season. At least Alcide is finding a reason to take off his shirt every episode.

This ep may have even been too crazy for ME. Lilith appearing was just over the top. This could have been an ep of Supernatural!

I just have to say I thought it'd be really tough to not watch this season but it's not troubling me in the least. When it comes out on DVD my friend will buy it and I'll rush over for a marathon :D
Enjoy the hunky men folk!

I liked Tara in this ep too...It was like you could feel sorry for her without them trying to hard to make you feel sorry for her and dislike her all at the same time.
I wish that story lines would not just cut off in the middle and leave you with nothing....The Lafayette thing was getting interesting...

I was a big fan of the tripping balls vampires roaming around in the street. Also, A+ Pam hair.

That episode was bananas. Bananas!
-RIP Detective Stabler. And those blue pants. :( -Bill frantically calling for Eric when the lights when out and Russel was released -Tara and her Mom, and then hugging new mom Pam. Aw! -Yes to Pam's hair! -Steve Newlin trying to befriend Russell -OMG the karaoke and the blood orgy and the wandering the streets drunk and the piggy-back rides and and and. I didn't know what the hell was going on! -That awkward moment when Arlene and Holly were watching the knocked up wedding video all smiley, but neither of them mentioned the part where Holly had attempted to help Arlene abort previously... -blah blah blah bathroom break fire monster stuff - W.T.F. Hoyt. -Poor Lala. -Basically anything Eric says lately gets a thumbs up. Nice return to form. -Godric!

Who would have thought vampires could be affected by V?? Anyway, the trippin' Vamps were pretty awesome (since it wasn't my party they crashed.) Also nice to see Godric again.
And seriously, I don't care about the Fire Monster. At all. Please, just let that storyline end and spend that time on vamps or shifters or something because everyone does NOT need a back story. Besides, shouldn't Holly know about magical fire monsters?
Boo Hoyt and the hate group, especially since he should be able to figure out those are the forkers who shot Sam (and care!)...or does he not know Sam is a shifter? And if not, how do those dudes know? Anyway, his rolling on the floor was ridiculous but funny enough that I didn't care.

"You don't know me that well. My angry face and my happy face are the same."
Best line! Pam was funny. Good for Tara getting to munch on that girl, I wish we could all do that do our bullies!
I thought the vamp that killed Sookie/Jason's parents would be someone that they knew adding drama. This seems to be a demon/vamp maybe?

I thought so too about both things, and he does seem to be more monster-ish. How on earth will they ever get Sookie and Bill back together now that a vampire has killed her parents, and Bill just happily killed a mom (presumably) and a bunch of other people? I guess she could never find out, but that seems unlikely. There was so much else going on I don't even know where to start.

The scene where he was comforting "himself" was so awkward. I started laughing. Also, yes, Lafayette is the best character for sure. The scene is sure to be good if he's in it.

1. What on earth is happening in this show?! The Lillith thing is just bizarre.
2. I think I almost cried when they took Emma.
3. I'm not sure how Terry shooting someone in the head is going to resolve the guilt he felt over shooting someone else in the head.
4. Is Sookie out of fairy powers?
