Breakfast: a few sips of a smoothie (banana, blueberries, peanut butter, almond milk, cocoa powder) a few bites of toast and a smooshed fruit package. Lunch: applesauce Snack: he's still sleeping. I'm hoping for dinner he will eat quinoa pasta and bean balls.
Miles has been sick and teething hardcore (molars) and that he usually would eat pretty much anything all day long and is hardly eating anything now makes me sad.

Carlos is adorable. Before you know it he'll be saying "fowfeeee" like Kai does when I pour mine each morning.
Tonight for dinner Kai had Joanne's nuggets for dinner. He ate the nuggests last night and tonight too, so that's impressive. Also fresh corn-cut-off-the-cob, yellow string beans & some road's end 123z n chreeze from the box. It was the first time he'd had the 123z and they were a big hit.

You know, if coffee does stunt their growth, it would be a great way to keep him tiny and cute forever.... :) But it would probably also stain his teeth. Quel dilemma!
And Kai eats so well, Aubade. That meal sounds delish!

Miles has been sick and teething hardcore (molars) and that he usually would eat pretty much anything all day long and is hardly eating anything now makes me sad. I'm happy to add to yesterday's meals! Snack...banana! Dinner...quinoa pasta with mini bean balls!

Carlos is so cute!
That picture reminds me of my husbands italian side of the family. They are always trying to give Reno and Miles wine to drink and they aren't joking. :)

Today was a bit of a shitshow foodwise, because it was B's birthday, and he kept saying we'd all go to eat together and then things would get crazy at work for him. The good news, is that the Gods were apparently really good to him, so I guess we'll celebrate another day. Breakfast: Peanut butter on toast with bananas - loved it. She has mastered the art of clutching two pieces of food in her fists and eating a third with her face. Lunch: Cucumber with hummus on it. Dinner: Daiya and spinach toasties on quinoa bread. Banana blackberry icecream for dessert. YUMMY. She was shoveling that stuff in. Apparently teething baby + banana softserve = bliss. I froze the remainder into popsicles for the rest of the week :)

B: cereal with almond milk and blueberries L: wrap made with Tofurky, TJ's vegan cream cheese, tomato and pea shoots, more blueberries, applesauce and then some Daiya shreds (ew! but she saw the bag in the fridge and started flipping out) S: TJ's cat cookies, a strawberry fruit pouch D: rama pug with tofu, rice, oranges (ate like three bites and then just wanted to run around the restaurant)
Goal for tomorrow: swallow a vegetable!

B: two bites of almond butter on toast, half of an apple peach fruit pouch S: zucchini banana muffin L: broccoli, sweet potato, and chickpea curry with quinoa S: coconut yogurt, a few fruit cremes, a sliver of mango D: black beans, sweet potato fries, corn tortilla baked into chips, cashew queso, avocado with lime. She ate all but the avocado and was really into dipping the sweet potato in the queso.

Breakfast: Os and blueberry Amande with blackberries Lunch: TJ's veggie burger (just a bite or two), white beans and pea shoots Dinner: rice noodles in peanut sauce with cucumbers. We discovered that noodles are excellent for flinging. We may never have noodles again.

@tofulish...does Leela eat the yogurt with a spoon herself? We've not yet let Freya try a pot/cup of yogurt, as it would very likely end up on the floor.

We mix it with granola or Os, so its goopy and then she gets a loaded spoon. Its still very messy though

Yum!
We had: Breakfast: Os and yogurt and blackberries Lunch: not very good burrito eaten outside - she liked the beans and rice and guac combination, but the server was trying to be a jerk to me after I asked for a free guac sub for the cheese, but ordered another dish instead of paying $1 for a little guac, so he made sure my burrito was almost all guac and was really snide and pissy about it. Dinner: quinoa and green beans with a little noochy sauce.

I thought of this thread while packing about an Emperor's worth (by volume) of snack today. He has the following to eat on the train:
1/2 a yellow honeydew melon Assorted stone fruits About 3 lbs of grapes Almonds Cashews Coconut toffee peanuts Garlic sesame sticks Whole wheat crackers Gorilla Munch cereal
That's probably it but seriously this is a butt ton of little person food.
For dinner tonight we had vegan pizza at a restaurant... He picked the broccoli off and refused to eat anything else. Kid!

Tell me of these coconut toffee peanuts of which you speak.....
Also, the Emperor eats really well!

I'm super late to even realizing this thread existed. Today we ate yellow watermelon, refried beans and gave plantains another try but, it seems, that guineapiglet is ant-plantain at this juncture but very much pro anything beany so thats fantastic.
I also noticed that she doesn't like to mix her foods. So I can only feed her one type of food at a time (only toast for breakfast, not toast and scramble, etc. if i give her both she'll entertain the idea of eating both but will ultimately only eat one of them)

So interesting! Leela eats absolutely anything.
Brunch - bites of my burrito (black bean, daiya and tofu) and sweet potato fries. I doused whatever she didn't eat in Frank's and OMNOMNOM. Dinner - broccoli zucchini miso chowder from Vegan Girl's Guide to Life. She loved it so much she was having us shovel it into her face quicker.
We are sick so we slept the rest of the day. Seriously - asleep from 1 to 6pm and now solidly in bed from 9 on.

Hows Leela doing with the o's ? I was thinking of introducing a Cheerios type cereal but wasn't sure if it was too soon yet for her to be able to crunch them up. Off to make a mystery breakfast this morning. I have no idea what's in the fridge so we'll see what I put together

FWIW, Freya's been doing okay with the o's for a couple of weeks (right about 7 months). She liked them before, but occasionally had some trouble if she didn't soften them up a bit. Her pincer grasp has really just sharpened up in the past few days too, so now she's really digging them.
