I bought silicon rings to make crumpets. I use Vegan Dad's recipe. Oh man, I so want some toasted crumpets.

I've used this one: http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/crumpets-recipe

I'll have to try out Vegan Dad's, too. I'm interested in the 1/2 bread flour. I would like mine to be a little more chewy.

Toasted poppy seed bagel with apricot jam and tofutti for breakfast. Tomorrow--toasted everything bagel with jalapeno cilantro hummus.

For nooch on toast do you just spread on some EB then sprinkle the nooch? Sounds intriguing.

My fave is avocado toast with herbamare & fresh pepper!

Exactly, planteatingathlete. Let the EB melt a bit, then liberally sprinkle nooch, and it will sort of soak into the EB. mmmm.

Toast last night - good old sprouted flax toast with peanut butter and marmite. Can't be beat.

That company has some of the nicest people ever. They recognized me at VegFest in San Francisco (I met some of them working at a health food store), and were like "Gabrielle! Canadian!" and then gave me free bread. Which I then toasted, to get back on topic.

I have some English muffins in my kitchen right now. I'm pretty excited about toasting them and watching the butter melt into the holes. I'm also excited about making them into pizza, but that is for another thread.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you should eat it! Kidding. Sort of. I use marmite to flavor seitan sausages, but it's sooo salty! I can't imagine spreading it on toast; that would be about 100x more marmite than I would want to eat in one sitting.

Marmite is awesome, but only in minute quantities. It adds a smoky-salty-oniony quality that is just great under avocado or almond butter. Mmmmmm!

No way, man. Smother that marmite all over whatever you got. It's gold.

Start gradually - when I first started eating marmite, my favourite way was like 1/2 tsp for two pieces of EB covered toast. Now I use like 1 tsp per piece. Mmmmmmarmite.

Best! Today's toast was the same sprouted flax, but today topped with cubed avocado, nooch, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.

Hehe. My husband eats Vegemite. I can't stand the smell. (I can hardly stand the smell of nooch, either, and refuse to eat either on toast. Go ahead, shoot me. :-p)

Avocado toast on 7 grain roll, it's what's for lunch!

Nooch and avocado? Hmm, may have to try that combo!
