We checked out Hanoi Kitchen tonight, even though their menu didn't seem too promising in the "chay" department. I'm super happy to report they can do a vegan version of most every kind of dish on the menu and have a really delcious and tangy vegetarian sauce. I had the bun chay (vermicelli with herbs and fried tofu--my favorite) and dazee had a steamed rice crepe, which was similar but on a big homemade rice noodle. The sweet and salty lemonade made from preserved salted lemons was fantastic!
