Long time no post. Here are some goodies I thought you might like :) My sister turned 50 last Friday. We have been celebrating for weeks. I made this version of Hannah Kaminski's Ultra Moist Amazing Chocolate Layer Cake. I brushed a little coffee liquor on the layers and iced the outside with basic buttercream. It really was amazing!!  The guts  I was worried we wouldn't have enough cake for the crowd, so I made the Coconut Lemon Bundt Cake from Vcon. I always like to add blue berries and a little lemon glaze to dress it up.   This weekend of indulgence was closed out with some melty crispy fried goodness. Behold the Crispy Zucchini Havarti Purses with a Rustic Roma Tomato Sauce made with Havarti Daiya. Recipe HERE Straight up cheezy sticks (no zuchs)

Everything looks so yummy here! It's making me hungry and crave for food. Your sister is a very lucky person to have such wonderful chef in the house. I love the chocolate cake: looks delicious!!

Those cheese sticks are amazing! I never would have thought to use wonton wrappers.

Whoa, that cake is ridiculous! I'm always impressed by a cake that can hold all those layers and still stay upright. Beautiful.
Also: HOLY crepe how did I not know about havarti daiya?? Must. Find. This.

Every year I make my own cupcakes or cake for my birthday. Except for the year my at the time boyfriend made me green cupcakes (he used frozen strawberries as the binder, but we both don't know why they were green. They were delicious anyway). I would love it if someone made that for me.
