This thread is amazing!!!! There is far too much body negativity, and I know I've struggled in many similar ways to a lot of people on here.
I like the way my eyes change colour and are always slightly different yet familiar to look into.
I like my neck, it somehow looks long and elegant despite being short.
I love my green hair, especially the way the colour changes and shines in the run. Almost like it's glowing.

Clearly I am not in the know about poses of muscular display. What are these? i'm curious too. The only one I know is "someone call a vet because these puppies are sick!" (puppies=muscles) 'Why, could your ball be down there' 'The beach is that way'

This is pretty cool! I think so negatively all the time about my body and it's an interesting flip to think positively.
I like my curly, kinky, natural hair and will never perm it again. I like my smile. I love my boobs. A lot.

This is pretty much the greatest thread ever.
I like my hair. It's frizzy as hell at times and I hate styling it, but it's blonde like my grandpa and that makes me happy. I like my eyes. They're super bright blue and I have no idea where they came from since the rest of the family has almost gray eyes. I like my boobs, they're pretty much awesome. I also love my curvy hips and butt, which is a new development. I've always been self conscious of them, but now I've decided they look awesome in jeans haha

Love this! Hmm. Has had an ED as well.
I love the fact that I look hot with my head shaved. I love my long legs. I love my back.
Trying to love my boobs. In the moment, my boyfriend does it for me.

I like my hair, lips, feet etc, but what I really love about my body is that I grew my son in it. Also, I'm more and more aware of how awesome the body is in general, since we study it at school (Nursing). So many little things that have to work - and they do! I have to stop writing now or I'll go on and on about kidneys...

I have received a ton of nice comments about my long eyelashes recently. It took me a long time to realize that they are quite long, and it's a nice little thing to be (superficially) happy about. :)

I'm learning to love my legs (and butt) they are stocky and I have vegemite BUT who cares? I ride my bike for transportation (also fun and exercize) and have had a 14 mile round trip commute over the past few weeks. I also started running recently. While i was riding my bike uphill to work (which essentially involves walking for 4hours) I realized, "my legs are really strong!" I had already run a couple of miles, bit they were still able to get me across town! They get me around all day, every day and under the layer of chub are some huge forking muscles. I can ride my bike all day! Up a mountain even! I can walk up endless steps! And you know what? That layer of chub saved my muscles from serious injury a few weeks ago, when i wrecked my bike and the seat post pierced my inner thigh. So as far as I'm concerned,it can stick around if it wants. Also my eyes and boobs. They're the window dressing.

This is an awesome thread. Especially when you're in a "body-negative" mood to get yourself out. My favorite things about myself are:
*My eyes: They might be poop brown, but they're a pretty-vibrant poop brown. *My legs: They are super strong, the have nice definition. and they carry me around all day everyday. *My lips: Full Cupid-Bow lips, where can they go wrong?

I like this article about loving your body post-pregnancy. Quote: So I’m not going to ask you how long it took you to ‘get your body back’–and even that type of rhetoric is bumming me out these days. Get your body back from where or from whom? My body never left, she’s been here all along. What I need to get back isn’t my body–but my comfortability in my body, my confidence, my f*ckitedness. Truth is, I never had Beyonce’s body–not when I was fourteen, not when I was at my skinniest, not before I had a baby. I had my body, and I still do. Now I just have to figure out how to love this body a little better. This body that has been like a really good friend to me and I’ve been embarrassed to take her out with the cool kids.

I have a pale clump of freckles on my nose. In the summer, it's like my nose looks dirty. I find it hilarous.
Also, I have a phenomenal backside (or so I'm told, cuz to be honest I can't see it on account of it's always behind me).

I just started running again, and it makes me feel so strong. It's great - not thinking about how I look but just thinking about how I feel.
My boyfriend have been greeting me with "there comes my favorite hourglass" lately. It is making me really happy - his love for my body is definitely rubbing off on me. I have always had a distinct hourglass figure, and I really like it. I've actually felt so good about myself lately that I've bought two new polo neck dresses that show off my figure. You know, rockin' it Joan Harris-style!

The way my bangs are sweeping lately is making my grey hairs very prominent. I like it; I think it helps me look distinguished. I feel like just another 3-5 years of grey hairs will finally make people stop asking me where I go to school. (I'm 26, but work in a job where I frequently wear paint stained clothes and have very loud hair cuts and glasses.)
