I didn't want to the be the first to post here, but it's been 12 hours and I've got a masterpiece burning a hole in my pocket.

This is GlueGun's (formerly OptimusPrime's) stick-figure extravaganza from last night:

Image

I know it's a crummy photo. But I love all the detail. The guys crawling through the tunnel in the bottom left. (Bonk. ouch, darn.) The thing flying underground in the lower-right ("yummy, soldiers"). All the cannons.

I may post a related piece later.

Damn, OP (GG?) is awesome.
I was going to take pics of some of Zola's drawings, but the battery in my camera died. I'll change them later and get some pics.

Can I post my 8-year old cousin Vanja's artwork? 'Cause it's hanging on my refrigerator.

I love this thread! We'll contribute to it after the next drawing session.

This is the closest I have so far. Can't exactly hang my front porch on the fridge, but that's where Silas does most of his artwork.

squee! i love this. i'll have to find something to post, but more importantly--i need to learn how to post pictures. for being such a social networking butterfly, i'm completely inept at techy things like posting photos.

Sasha, 6 years old. Assignment the first week of 1st grade. "What I did this summer"

edit: Just in case you can't read it, the caption says, "This summer I went to Six Flags."
I was at Six Flags with her and I did not see ANY of that.
I love her art.

I'd love to see GG at a mad science lab, FootFace! I bet that would be awesome (for everyone).

Its dark here so I cant take any of my 9 year olds art pictures. He gets artistic with Lego creations or awesome tree forts. I will have to take some photos with him tomorrow. My 15 year old started her own Etsy shop a little while ago and has been selling lampwork beads and just recently sterling silver things. She just added this titmouse family and when I read its description I smiled! I love her.

Yessiree! (I hope you are asking about the necklace and not the two *pictures* of the birds she took!) Its real silver that comes in a clay form mixed with organic binders. She makes it into shapes, bakes it to a couple thousand degrees in her kiln to burn out those binders, and WHAM! Its a 99% fine silver what-ever-it-is-she-made. She spends so much time making all kinds of neat stuff. Did you see her glass beads there as well? Another dangerous hobby of hers. *shaking head* I have glass and propane and fire and metal all over the damn place!

I've considered getting that clay in the past. That looks so freakin' neat!
