We're still in! I'm not sure we will be able to get there until after 1 though. Ada is down to one nap in the middle of the day and doesn't sleep in the stroller. We'll do our best to get there earlier though!

I am also pro-one-ish instead of noon-ish. Because we get up late and are not morning people.

I am fine with one-ish!
All else the same though? Madison Square at the playground (north end of the park) - bring your own picnic or buy from Terri and meet us with it? If we're not walking a ton, I am just going to put her in the ergo, not bring a stroller and go in via Penn Station and walk to the park.

My husband said Yes to coming to the meetup. I'll confirm the closer we get to the weekend. one-ish is better for us as well.

It looks like it's not going to be too hot out so yay! The north end of the park sounds good. I don't know how many times I have been to that park but I can't remember ever seeing the playground. I have no idea how! We'll probably stop at Terri on the way.

This is the one I was thinking of! http://www.madisonsquarepark.org/things ... playgroundThere is a water feature, so.... Yeah. ::happy dance:: My husband wants to drive in and I don't know what parking is like there, but suspect it will be rubbish. How are other NJ folks getting in?

Aw man! I was psyched! We can reschedule, but we could also do something else indoors.

I am fine with not rescheduling! Its just supposed to rain until noon and then move to rolling T-storms so an outdoor event would be likely rained out.
Where would a good indoor space be? Are you thinking NYC or NJ?
If we don't go in, any NJ/NYC peeps are welcome at our place for pancakes :) We do have Duplo :)

Maybe we should set a time to call it? I don't have to travel so I'm not a good judge of when to call it. Or have we already called it?
I already have my food prepped. I might have to picnic in my living room.

We haven't called it! I just mentioned the fact that its a 40% chance of rain for most of the day tomorrow.

It was supposed to thunderstorm today but it only rained a little in the late afternoon. So maybe it will pass? Should we check in by 10 in the morning? I would hate to cancel and then it doesn't rain. Or if everyone just wants to decide to reschedule tonight than I'm fine with that too. I wish I could think of an indoor place that could accommodate a bunch of mobile kids.

A free indoor playground would be wonderful! :)
With there being threats of thunderstorms all day I think we are out for the meetup. I don't feel like traveling by mass transit into the city with two kids if it might be stormy. We got caught in a tremendous downpour yesterday and it was miserable!
Perhaps we will change our minds but it's unlikely.

Weather.com has it as an 80% chance of thunderstorms after 1pm, so I'd prefer to reschedule for next Sunday, if that works for everyone.

Yeah, it looks like there's a pretty good chance of storms. Next Sunday or the one after works for us!

Oh well, it's pretty miserable out humidity-wise even if it doesn't rain. We will be out of town next weekend but I think we could do the one after that, the 12th I think?

You guuuuyyys, it's not even supposed to rain until 6 now. Ha.
Yep, that's the 12th butternut. That would work for us. We'll be on the west coast the two weekends after that.

What a beautiful day it turned out to be! Hate when the weather is all messed up and wrong.
Next Sunday is my bday so that's out for us even though we might hang out in the city that day on the Highline and stuff. The 12th is a maybe for us. We will be in Connecticut the day before and might just not want to travel 2 days in a row.

Bumpitybump!
Are we all still up for this? So looking forward to seeing what a month has brought since our last gathering!
