The members of the church threatened the pastor's job if he broke the church's long tradition of racism, and the coward obliged. This is forking sickening. This church needs to lose its tax-exempt status. How do we make that happen?

An update said the church leaders are holding a meeting to decide what the best course of action for similar future requests should be. They need a MEETING for that.

The thing that makes even less sense is that the couple apparently felt very welcome at the Church and enjoyed it. Weird.
That pastor is worst of all. How can a so-called man of God allow such evil to push him around? Despicable jerk.

There is no law against being a racist. Government bodies are not permitted to discriminate on the basis of race, and there are some laws that protect against discrimination in employment or housing contexts, but there's no law that I'm aware of that prevents religious institutions from discriminating on the basis of race.
That's not to defend the church at all. It's just he way the law works.
