No, not at all. You just make some dough the day before (or a few days before) you want to bake, keep that in the fridge to ferment (this will give it extra flavour), then on baking day add a bit more flour, yeast, water and salt, knead a bit, rest, shape (just cut off some and roll it into a long cylinder) and bake!
