Anyone try these yet? I saw them in the store the other day and got really excited! Clif now has a gluten free food bar. And they are tasty. Kind of small, but the ingredients are basic and they are good for stashing in my bag so I always have a snack with me. http://www.clifbar.com/food/products_kits_organic/The Berry Almond bar has Organic dates, organic almonds, organic barberries, organic bilberries, and sea salt. Other flavors are Cashew, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Almond Coconut.

Haven't tried them yet but it seems to be a similar concept to lara bar and I do love lara bars...

I've seen them. It seems like there are a lot of lara bar knockoffs lately.
It made me google barberries, though, which was fun.

I kind of hate Lara bars. So I'm happy to have these as an option.

I hate Lara bars too, and I passed over these because they looked just like Lara bars to me when I checked out the ingredients. Do they taste different?

Yes, I think they have way more flavor and aren't as sticky if that makes sense. So far I've only had the peanut butter and I thought it was way better than any Lara bar I've ever had. When I eat the Berry bar today I will report back!

I think I posted about these in another thread after blogging about them. I really like them - they remind me of Lara Bars without that weird aftertaste that makes you go ick! I like the coconut flavor a lot!

The berry tasted similar to a Lara bar, but a little better. I probably won't be buying that one again. But I can't wait to try the chocolate coconut!

The cashew and PB ones sound really good! I'm pretty fond of most LaraBars, but it's nice to know that there are other options. I'd never heard of barberries before this.

I tried one and thought it tasted just like a Larabar, except a little smoother.

LaraBars have a funky after taste to me....Like tangy but not in a good way. The Clif bars lacked that.

Do the barberries taste like barberries?

He he he he (to the previous post).
I will have to check these out. I really like getting the Cliff kids bars for my girls. They are a super filling snack for days when they are running around like crazy and needing something a little extra.

Cashew was good too! Very soft and tasty with chunks of cashews in it. Had it for breakfast this morning cause I was running late and didn't have time to make my normal smoothie. It worked good in a pinch.

Yes, I love these bars! I've been haphazardly trying different vegan bars over the past few months and Kit's are my new favorite! Minimal ingredients, organic, vegan, gluten-free, and they taste great! I actually like the chocolate almond coconut one so much that I'm going to attempt to re-create it at home (Ingredients: dates, almonds, unsweetened chocolate, coconut, virgin coconut oil, sea salt).
