Change can be hard, even when it's necessary and you know you can't hang on to the familiar any longer but it's also exciting! I hope you & your family make it through this transition without too much difficulty.

I'm trying to make things as easy as possible. Luckily, he just left last night on a 10-day trip so he doesn't have to witness us packing. When he comes home, reality might hit him when he sees all of the boxes.
I think in the long run, he'll realize that this is better for all of us.

We are less than a week from moving and we are just now starting to pack. It was a tough week at work and the kids didn't do much in the way of packing/cleaning so I'll do a power session this weekend.
Mr. Evil One comes home tomorrow after being away for 10 days. He still seems okay about this. We'll see what he's like in person.

The big day is tomorrow. Mr. Evil One is off from work tomorrow and has offered to help get the truck and load it up. So far there have been no passive-aggressive moments or yelling. He tells me to take what I want. He's either repressing his excitement or his disappointment. Either way, it's been okay (I rhymed).
