I am switching to vegan household products. I am not up to paying $5-$10 for handsoap which is what I've seen. What do you suggest?

I don't actually remember how much Method hand soap costs, but I feel like it's cheaper than most of the other vegan ones--around $4 maybe?

Method - buy one pump bottle for around $3.75. Then after that buy the big refill bags for about $5 - that will refill your bottle at least 3 more times. Target has a $1 off Method coupon right now!

Also, if you have a Costco membership, they sell Method hand soap even cheaper.

I have not seen huge Method soaps at Costco in years..:( The only vegan friendly home care we find is Eco laundry detergent.

I've been refilling a foam pump bottle of Whole Foods handsoap with Dr. Bronners. I just fill the bottle up about a half inch with the soap then fill the rest with distilled water. That foam shiitake lasts forever.

Yup, same here. I bought a whole foods foaming hand soap, and now refill with diluted Dr Bronners. I use the suggested ratio from the Dr Bronner's website-- 1 part soap to 5 parts water.

I was also going to suggest buying a foaming pump bottle (Method makes one too if you don't have a Whole Foods nearby) and refilling it. Or if you have an old bottle of non-vegan foaming hand soap you could just reuse the bottle from that. I've either used the Method refills or Dr. Bronners diluted in water and it works great. The soap will last so, so much longer if you use a foaming pump instead of a regular one. Getting a giant bottle of Dr. Bronners is probably the most economic choice, but I like Method because they have a more varied collection of scents. The 34 oz Method refills are $5.55 on iHerb, which is much cheaper than the price at my local store. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Mrs. Meyers hand soaps are also vegan-friendly? The individual bottles (non-foamer) retail online for about $4 and they also make big refill bags (if you want to refill a foamer).

Yeah I use Mrs Meyers products, love them.

Ya, Mrs. Meyers does - they are pricey. Also if I use the basil scented dish soap I get really ill, I rinse my plates off well but it is so bad, once switching over to something else my issues cleared up.

Seventh Generation has hand soap, it is small for the price though. Also Trader Joe's has vegan hand soap. I even found vegan lavender organic hand soap at the discount store!
