We won't be making it. We will be in CT the day before and will not travel 2 days in a row with Miles....he's not a good traveler. :)

You guys don't have a free weekend till the end of September, right? So perhaps we should meet up this weekend if anyone else is up for it, and then get together again in early Oct when you guys can join?
I would be totally up for making this a monthly thing!

We're gonna be in Philly this Sunday/Monday but if anyone's into a midweek meetup, I'm around! my boss is away and while I'll be coming in most days just to check out whats up with our clients, I'll also be meandering around, shopping and having lunch out when I feel like it. I'm also totally down with fall meet-ups, I freakin love the fall.

I forgot that my BIL's bday is this week. He is having a party over the weekend and I voted for it to be on Saturday, so I am in unless he winds up having it Sunday instead. My in-laws are last minute people.

Sunday at 1pm at Madison Park still work for everyone?
I have had the worst luck feeding Leela restaurant food, so I think I'm going to pack a bit of a picnic for her. Seriously we had an Indian takeout picnic and she got a green chili that she proceeded to rub into her eye. OW!

My idea was just some hummus sandwiches for Leela so I don't accidentally give her something spicy and screw up her whole day like I did on Wednesday. Also I gave her pepperjack Daiya which she hated. She loves the cheddar, but I think the pepperjack is too spicy for her.
I really have no idea what is spicy for a toddler.

Yep, we're still in! I have no idea if we'll get there anywhere near 1 though. Ada's naps have been all wonky this week...that and she will probably want to walk there (seriously, she has been refusing to go in a stroller or the ergo for the last few days). I have your number Tofulish so I'll text if we're running really late.

Sounds good to me! I think the playground would be a madhouse on Saturday...
Why doesn't the first person to get there set up (I have an orange picnic blanket) in a shady spot as close to the playground as possible? You and Ariann both have my number and I'll pm it to Butternut...

Its at the Northern end of the park by the reflecting pool. http://madisonsquarepark.org/about-the-parkNot sure if there is a limit to the lawns that are available for picnicking, but will definitely try and set up as close to the playground as possible. I PM'ed Butternut my cell, so hopefully this should be easy to manage! Looking forward to seeing everyone! Especially Ada and Lucinda who have grown so much since our last adventure! Leela is napping in preparation and Mr. T is going to be joining us! Woooo!

I could conceivably do 10/19, but getting in and out of NYC on public transport can be a bear around rush hour. I'd rather do Sunday 10/7 as it looks pretty warm and still mostly sunny: http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/C ... J0095:1:US Plus as Mr A assures us, driving in is easy on Sundays :) I would also be up for getting together in November, but maybe we can do a Museum playdate then in case its cold? The Islamic wing of the Met just re-opened and its right by an awesome playground....
