Hey, folks. I've become preoccupied with trying to figure out what the state of technology is in the AR movement, specifically in smaller organizations who spend a lot of time in the field or dealing directly with animals. I'm looking for a general shoot-the-shitake conversation, but some specific questions I have include:
Does anyone here have a "high tech" position in a nonprofit that helps animals? What are the challenges? How big is your budget? Is technology saving you money? What does your tech wishlist look like?
Does anyone here have a no-tech position in such an organization? How could technology help you spend more time doing important work? Is your current technology inhibiting your work, or costing you money?
Is anyone with high-tech skills looking for a job with such an organization? Having any luck?
Thanks!
