This Monday will be Sea Shepherd NYC's third annual S'more Protection for the Oceans fundraiser!
In addition to s'mores made with Sweet & Sara marshmallows and graham crackers, we'll have sweets from Terri, Clementine Bakery and more.
We also have raffle prizes lined up from:
Verameat Compassion Couture Christy Robinson Gristle Tattoo Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Brooklyn Grooming Candle 79 Rescue Chocolate Pacific Northwest Kale Chips Cyberoptix Tie Lab Sue Coe Lazy Dog Designs Sacha Vida TofuXPress Sustainable NYC Primal Strips Pangea Vegan Products Vegan Essentials Olia Designs Cri de Coeur Jaan J. Dun-Well Doughnuts Klean Kanteen
and more. And there will be campaign volunteers (including me) around to chat and answer questions. This is seriously shaping up to be even bigger than the past two years.
Tickets are available here: seashepherd.org/nyc
Hope to see you there!

Hey SSD, my boyfriend and I have an eyebrow raised! We're kinda homebodies, but we might make it out. Any chance there will be gluten free options?

I'm double checking if there will be any gluten free baked goods, but last year, we made chocolate+marshmallow bowls for the gluten free person who came since she couldn't eat the graham crackers.

would it be possible to bring a pack of gluten-free grahams or would that seem weird? I'd be down to go just to come and hang out + show support, even if we did bring our own.

I meant for us to bring our own to share in case that was misunderstood.

That would be amazing! We'll be really careful about cross-contamination.
Also, the folks from Clementine Bakery will be donating some gluten free stuff, so if you don't BYOgrahams, you will still be able to partake.
See you there!

The year we went (the first year!), it was AMAZEBALLZ! Sadly it conflicts with our baby's bedtime, but I want to add my recommendation that if you can, you should TOTALLY GO BECAUSE IT IS AMAZEBALLZ!!!!

Drat! We intentionally got a baby Klean Kanteen for the raffle! It has a sucker on the end and everything.

Yup, you can still get tickets!
I will probably be down in the kitchen making s'mores when you get there, but you can ask Molly (who will be at the door) to ask someone to come get me so I can say hi and grab your graham crackers to make you some gluten free goodness. I'll give her a heads up to expect that.

I...suck. My boyfriend wasn't feeling so great and so I stayed behind with him and the pup, who I had left home for much of the day all on his own. I hope it was a raving success.

Dang! I wasn't sure if I missed you because I had to leave in the middle because the day sitter lost one of the cats I've been watching (don't ask).
