I am absolutely a classic film enthusiast! Is there anyone else on here that loves classic films or classic actors & actresses? Please elaborate if you do! I apologize if there is already a topic about this! I looked through the first twenty pages or so and did not see one. :)

Depends on what you call classics? I like Hitchcock, Film Noir, and SF B-movies from the 1950s...

The Lady Vanishes and Arsenic & Old Lace are two of my favourite comedies.
I actually haven't seen To Catch a Thief (but I liked Roman Holiday)!

To fruitbat: I would consider those classics! I adore Hitchcock. His birthday is today too! I mainly love movies from the 1920's to 1960's.
To Randi: Yay!! I LOVE Roman Holiday! You can't go wrong with Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn!! To Catch a Thief is wonderful! Cary Grant and Grace Kelly are magnificent!
My favorite actor is Jimmy Stewart, and I'm totally in love with him haha. :P

2nd (3rd?) Arsenic and Old Lace. I also love just about anything Danny Kaye is in. OH, and The Philadelphia Story! I actually like a lot of Cary Grant stuff.

To Nickvicious: I love Humphrey Bogart! He was a very talented actor! I love all of the movies you mentioned! Also To Have and Have Not! :)
To Rachell37: I love the Philadelphia Story! Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, and Katharine Hepburn were a perfect trio in that movie! Oh, and I love your avatar! Pretty In Pink is so good! :D
To Angelina: Cary Grant was just terrific, wasn't he? Notorious and North by Northwest are definitely among my favorites of his films! :)

I love them. That Touch of Mink is my favorite. Doris Day, Cary Grant.
Charade/To Catch a Thief/the Doris Day Charade spoof about hairspray with the title I can never remember
Cary Grant was the best. I love Houseboat with Sophia Loren. Actually, anything he did I love. Ditto Doris Day. Glass Bottom Boat is great.
Let's see. What else?
Marilyn Monroe, especially Niagara, Let's Make Love, and How to Marry a Millionaire. But not Bus Stop--I hate that movie. Really hate it.
Hitchcock (love Rope). Hepburn/Tracy like Desk Set. Anything Audrey Hepburn, esp Funny Face Lauren Bacall (Key Largo)
Old Saint movies (Pre-Roger Moore, though I love those too)
And, of course, nothing is more classic than James Bond. If I could only watch one movie from here to eternity it would easily be Dr. No.
For something more modern: The Breakfast Club. I'll give IDJI Con Air if we can have The Rock too. And, for the hell of it, Zardoz because that movie just defies all laws of reason and nobody except Sean Connery could have ever possibly lived that thing down.

I forgot Metropolis and the Karloff movies like The Mummy. And Eisenstein (those are in Russian).
Speaking of Russian, if you like campy spy spoof movies, The Diamond Arm is absolutely fabulous. Anyone who enjoys Charade and similar will likely enjoy it.

The Mummy and The Breakfast Club are great movies. I love The Abominable Dr. Phibes, but didn't consider it old enough to be classic (1971. Love Vincent Price, I saw House on Haunted Hill the other night). My all time favourite movie just might be Bladerunner...

Hmm, I haven't seen That Touch of Mink! I do enjoy some Doris Day though! I love Cary Grant as well. He was so iconic.
I agree about the movie Bus Stop! It was the first movie I ever saw of Marilyn's, and I did not care for it much either! I love Rope too! And his other films with Jimmy Stewart especially: Rear Window, Vertigo, and The Man Who Knew Too Much. I adore Katharine Hepburn and her collaboration with Spencer Tracy! Audrey Hepburn was brilliant. I love Funny Face, Sabrina, Charade, and Roman Holiday. I also like Lauren Bacall! Especially her movies with Humphrey Bogart!
Oh, I love The Breakfast Club! And many other John Hughes films!
I haven't seen The Diamond Arm, but I'll have to check it out! :)

If you like Rope, see if you can track down Swoon. It was made in the 90's, but it is about Leopold and Loeb (the true case Rope is based on). Very well done, stylish docudrama type movie.
Errol Flynn is fun too.
I'm not huge on Westerns, but Clint Eastwood and Shirley MacClaine did one together called A Mule For Sister Sara or some similar title. Cute movie;they were good together. Clint was so young!

I just looked up Swoon. It looks interesting, and I'll have to see if I can find it!
I'm not too keen on Westerns either. They just aren't my cup of tea. The only ones I have really watched are Jimmy Stewart's, haha. I'll have to check out that Clint one though!

"Classic" is a very subjective term, but I absolutely love White Heat, and despite all of the Western haters, two of my favourite films ever are Pat Garret and Billy the Kid and The Long Ryders. I think these are classics.

I can't stand westerns. That's why I never got into Firefly... it's a freaking western (with spaceships).
