Ha, I'm still not at that stage. Someday!
Now, if only I didn't need the one size that's out of stock.

I guess if they keep stocking the "cute" stuff like ModCloth in addition to their focus on streetwear and party clothes, then they should perpetually have a cute clearance, and negate the need for spending ModCloth prices. Plus, Karmaloop gives coupons that I used to use alot more often. I dunno if MC does, I hope they do. I get what you're saying though, I like alot of their retro things and sometimes they're already out of stock elsewhere! Oooh and they used to have a vintage section but I'm not sure anymore.
Ohhhh yeah I only get dresses from there, the shoe bit makes sense.

A while back, I had some extra money and bought this for a wedding I'm going to later this month. But recently I realized I misread the invite; I thought it said "please wear casual clothing" and it actually says "please wear comfortable clothing" (since it will be both outdoors where it's hot, and indoors where it's airconditioned). Is this too casual to wear to a wedding, or do you think it's okay? (More views here.)

I think it's wedding appropriate.

These pictures just trigger me to dart out of my house and buy some dresses in all kinds of stores. Must.Constrain.Myself.

I want this stripey one from modcloth but they haven't gotten back to me with exact measurements (dresses make me nervous when there isn't an xs available).

I really don't need any new dresses, but I just saw this one today: With this awesome back I don't have any good longer maxi style dresses, so this one looks fab, and it has good reviews: I also want more fitted/structured top dresses with a nice flare/Aline skirt. I'm really digging that classic fit. Here is one that is sort of 'boring' as my boyfriend put it. I've got a black dress with a similar neckline that looks great on me, but the bottom is more fitted than this one: All are on modcloth because I'm obsessed, even though I've had issues with the quality vs price once some items.

I got both of these from Modcloth (called 'About the Artist' and 'Polka Dot Parade'). I hope the first one is professional enough for work. It seems to look really lovely on all the people who posted pictures of themselves wearing it on the Modcloth site.

How short are those Madewell dresses on? I really like them but I worry about their work appropriateness.

They're usually around knee-length on me, but I'm 5'2" with unusually short legs (even for my height).
