mini vanilla with melted dandies and ganache and sprinkles


mini cherry


mini chocolate with biscoff frosting


mini butterscotch with biscoff and marshmallow topping. made these with butterscotch pudding mix and malta. they were the omni favorite of all the weekly cupcakes.



cat cake for a birthday party scene in a movie. colored with americolor electric colors, flattened and cut dandies for teeth and gumdrops for nose and pupils. ears and eyes were cake balls



VB cornbread biscuit with added corn

7 layer greek dip. this was amazing. and skeptical-omni-approved...but i made it last year and don't remember what i put in it.


grilled shaved asparagus pizza, also from last year...and the most vegan-hating person i know (who is a chef) had thirds of it. i think it had vcon pine nut cream with lemon thyme for the sauce.

At first I read "somewhere in the 90s" as referring to the decade, and I thought "WOAH, Porn from the 90s, that's dedication" but then I realized you probably meant between 90th and 100th on the UWS.

Nonetheless, the food is delicious! And 90s era rainbow bagels would make a lot of sense, actually.

That cat cake is awesome. And those bagels! I'm trying to figure out how you'd even do that without the colors bleeding together. I want to know what they look like on the inside...

The biscoff frosting looks great. Is it just biscoff spread, or is there something else mixed with it?

yep, just plain biscoff. it's very handy when you don't have a fridge.

it's the zebra cake technique, where you pour concentric circles of batter in the middle of the pan, alternating color each time. it's very easy to do and you can do as many colors as you want. http://sugarturntable.com/?p=1280

I love all of this, but I'm a bit distracted by those bagels. I want one.

I'm going to go cry over those blueberries now, and the fact that vegan treats is so far away.

We recently discovered biscoff here and I know when I show my partner those cupcakes he's going to die and want me to make them right away. Very awesome eats!

The falafel looks great! And they gave you some manakish zaatar on that plate, too. One of my favs! I also saw the Madagascar tofu at the Asian grocery just last week. I actually have a carton in my fridge right now.

This is tempting me to walk over to our local place that sells Vegan Treats and pick something up! Vegan Treats is just the best ever.

And, I was totally thinking 90's the decade and how fitting rainbow bagels are.
