I just recently learned that Mary Kate and Ashley aren't identical twins. It kind of blew my mind.

There are plenty of siblings who look a lot alike, so that if you look at pictures of them at the same age, they look nearly identical, so it's not so weird for fraternal twins to look really similar, too.

I know the internet says that, but it's one of those times that I just disagree with the internet. I've never seen them say they got genetic testing done to prove they're not identical, I see a bunch of people saying one is a little taller and one has a freckle the other doesn't have.

A tea party group in my state had one of their members truck down to the closest Chick-fil-A and bring back a ton of their food for a banquet. It was a 3 1/2 hour trip. 3 1/2 hours! Can you imagine what that grease-filled crepe is going to taste like after a trip that long? It seems like if they wanted to make some sort of point on this whole stupid thing, they could have found a better and tastier way of doing it. I hope they enjoyed it... Sheesh.

I can tell them apart pretty easily. If you watch one of the movies they made together, where they play different characters, you can see that their faces are shaped really differently. Mary-Kate's face is much rounder.

And if you watch these documentaries, it doesn't look like they (or Mary Kate, at least) can do anything on their own.

But being able to tell twins apart, especially older identical twins that aren't trying to look like mirror images, is pretty darn easy.

Although, on this same Wikipedia page, there is a picture of the Olsen twins, and it says, "Citation needed", so there you go. I think we demand a DNA test.

I did, however know a pair of twins who said they were fraternal, although they looked nearly identical, and claimed to be another type of twin that doctors were studying. I never got a DNA sample from them, either.
