The actor who plays Quinn is on Justified this season as a "Dixie Mafia hitman." It may only be one episode though.

I liked this season but the incest made me feel so gross and also I thought Dexter kept taking so many unnecessary risks. Also, seriously, did he not expect someone to be in that church looking for DDK? what the fizzle Dexter?
I am excited to see how Debs deals with her bro being a killer. I think she'll be cool with it when she finds out who he kills. Besides, how else can they play out that story line?
As for the incest (which I guess isn't technically incest as they are aren't blood related, it is just really icky) I don't really understand where that came from. She has never shown interest in Dexter before, in that way anyway.
Here in the UK, we have just finished the season, hence my really late comments!

That looks really good!
Just fyi, though it does kind of let you know what Deb does after finding Dex over the body, so if you are vehemently anti-spoiler you may not want to watch...
Dexter has so much potential to be freaking great, and I hope that as they wind down they find a way to realize it.

Good point. Any mods wanna add a spoiler type warning just in case someone doesn't see Tofulish's post first?

I put a note that it contains spoilers. I can't decide if I want to watch!

I find it a really spoilery spoiler. If you're wondering how the cliffhanger at the end of last season resolves, it will answer that question for you.

Yeah it was spoilery but given how predictable last season was who even cares. The trailer kind of seems like an apology.

I always plan not to watch and then get suckered in....
I don't care about being spoiled personally, just wanted people to know that if you want the "OMG what is she going to do now that she's seen the brother she may or may not have incesty feelings for standing over a body he just murdered" feeling to last a wee bit longer, you may not want to watch the trailer :)
I'm just hoping that its a total cloner killer for Deb, bc the incesty stuff was horrible. The saving grace after Rita died was that at least he had one human relationship, so to make that one weird and angsty would just ruin the show for me.
I wonder how the creator of Dexter feels about the TV show - its just such a different trajectory from Dexter living with Rita as a family man and still being a serial killer....

I was so afraid Deb was going to be dumb and believe Dexter's lame story. I figured the show would surely cop out and she wouldn't really learn the truth.
I was wrong! Yes!! I think this season is going to be goooooood. I'm into it so far. So happy it's back.

It was a great idea for Deb to go buy gasoline two blocks away to burn down the church.

Is it just me or are none of the actors on this show aging like normal people? Everyone looks pretty much exactly the same in this season as they did six or seven years ago or whenever it was they shot the first season.

I thought Angel looked a big more gray around the temples and Quinn looks really gaunt.
Ditto on the gas station. Do they not have CCTV in Miami?

If this season is anything like last then I predict this is how they get caught.

I totally forgot about weird intern guy. Forgot about him just like Dexter has forgotten about his kid.

The intern guy is sooooooo weird. Why did he cancel all of Dexter's credit cards? Just to be a jerk?

Cause I totally missed it and wondered why none of his credit cards were working. Yes, they did. He got the account data from Dexter's laptop. When he was at his girlfriend's place (Dexter's babysitter) he did something with the numbers on his own laptop. They showed a page that said "account deleted". So I guess those were the credit card accounts.
