I see vitamin D3 in products which is hard to believe is synth... Not impossible. This D3 supplement is Vegan Society approved, for example: http://www.vitashine-d3.com/

Face Front has two shadows I want to try but after being puzzled for a bit - what is a steel finish? I assume it is semi-matte?

I use the $1.99 Wet n Wild liquid eyeliner, regular not waterproof. I love it, a lot. I think all the colors are vegan except the purple, but you can double check the vegan list on WnW's site http://wnwbeauty.com/faq.php#12The Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks are vegan, these ones (not my photo) they're actually my favourite lipsticks, and last better than ones I have from MAC, Lorac, and Make Up For Ever.

So an update:
Because of personal issues i've been super depressed lately, which means putting off everything. But I just found out i'm going to lose my job soon, which actually makes me feel BETTER, and I will have more time so I promise promise promise that the blog is going to get off the ground. No one likes admitting they're depressed and i'm not looking for pity, but I know other people have already done shiitake for it so I thought y'all deserved an explanation other than some bullshiitake about me being busy.

I understand the sucking sink pit of depression well, and will never judge anybody for putting self care first. Take care of you. The blog will happen when the blog happens. I've been battling my own mental health issues this summer, so I haven't done much for OPV either.

MBM.... your health is one of the most important things EVER. Way more important than any blog. I know I am looking forward to seeing this blog up but I would prefer you healthy to be honest. You look after yourself and get yourself into a healthy place. xxx

from Tokyomilk:
We are delighted to hear from you. Currently we are in the process of creating a full vegan friendly list for our products and fragrances. I have confirmed that Dead Sexy no. 6 and Honey & the Moon No. 10 are safe for vegan use. Please note that though honey is listed as a fragrance note no actual honey is used in the process, it is a delicate blend of essential oils brought together to create the honey scent. Let us know if you have additional questions or concerns.
Kind regards,
TokyoMilk

We are pleased to inform you that Kao USA Inc. does not use animals to test any of our products. We closely examine all ingredients and products before they go on the market to ensure that all products meet the safety expectations outlined in the PCPC Consumer Commitment Code, US FDA and EU regulations, and many other recognized regulatory agencies. Additionally, current plans do not include the use of animals in the development of new products.
Kao Corporation, our parent company located in Japan, has not been conducting animal testing on final products. However, Japanese law requires that companies use animal testing to help determine the safety of new chemical ingredients and specific food products. These cases are exceptions. Kao Corp. has been developing alternative safety testing methods and will continue to do their utmost to minimize animal testing and develop effective alternatives.
Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional concerns.
