Armstrong already retired 2+ years ago. There have been rumors and accusations of doping for years, and I doubt he would want to compete again even if he wasn't banned. The doping charges brought by the USADA could strip him of all Tour de France wins, but that's up to the International Cycling Union.

He'd retired from pro cycling but he'd been competing in triathlon on the pro level right up until the USADA opened their investigation in June. So the ban does affect him. He was supposed to have done Ironman France in late June in pursuit of a Kona berth and was prevented from racing.

Everytime someone mentions them having kids I get a flash of 'Toddlers and Tiaras' in my head, maybe a little more 'rocker/punk' though.

Does Avril still have a career? I know Nickelback dude does, as forking baffling as that is. They kind of remind me of Gwen and Gavin reversed, except the much more horrible this-decade version. I hope they buy a ranch in Alberta, have 13 kids, and VH1 makes a reality show about them. Canucks of Rock or something like that.

You are a genius. I will buy cable if this comes to pass.

The ICU hasn't decided if they are going to take the USADA's ruling. The only way to spin this for Lance is that the case against him consists entirely of testimony of people who claim they saw him violating the rules. There are no positive blood tests or any other physical evidence.
Quote:
USADA said its evidence came from more than a dozen witnesses "who agreed to testify and provide evidence about their firsthand experience and/or knowledge of the doping activity of those involved in the USPS conspiracy,'' a reference to Armstrong's former U.S. Postal Service cycling team.

The unidentified witnesses said they knew or had been told by Armstrong himself that he had "used EPO, blood transfusions, testosterone and cortisone'' from before 1998 through 2005, and that he had previously used EPO, testosterone and Human Growth Hormone through 1996, USADA said. Armstrong also allegedly handed out doping products and encouraged banned methods - and used "blood manipulation including EPO or blood transfusions'' during his 2009 comeback race on the Tour de France.

That can be really hard to combat and he might have decided that he would lose in arbitration.

So what do you all think about Lance Armstrong? Do you think he was doping? I don't understand how they can say he was if he didn't test positive.

On the original Australian 'Kath and Kim' show, Kimmy was always trying to lose weight and ate prepackaged "Celine Cuisine" meals.

And, Usher is trying a vegan diet (and is trying to convince Bieber to do it too!)

I read something somewhere about Gwen Stefani being vegan now too.

I want to be excited about all these celebs embracing veganism, but it's all so hollow when they are just thinking about their abs.
