Can someone please explain to me what exactly anti-colonialism is supposed to mean (in the context of the Obama's America documentary)? I have been reading news articles about it, but I don't really get it. People think Obama is anti-American because of why?

I think they've forgotten that the Founding Fathers dabbled in a bit of anti-colonialism.
