I've had a few major culls, but I've got a greeny-blue and brown-ish long sleeve tshirt that is probably about eight years old. I have a formerly green backpack that is probably about the same age.

AAAAAND I forgot to ask a question.

So... what's the silliest thing you've forgotten recently?

This past year I've been really bad about forgetting the birthdays of close friends, relatives etc. I'll usually remember like a day later but it still makes me feel like a jerk. There was also the time that I spent a whole day making a wedding care package type present for an old friend, then forgot to mail it for three weeks.

What was your favorite toy when you were a kiddo?

I was in love with barbie and her various friends for way too long. I recall thinking at age 12 that I would never ever want to stop playing with barbies and plotting ways to hide my obsession...

When you buy books do you go to the bookstore or typically order them on-line?

Bookstore! I like to make an adventure out of it. Also, I like to browse.

What's your favourite form of exercise?

Rock climbing! Bouldering, to be precise.

How often to you get a haircut?

Every two to three months. Probably not as often as I should!

How often do you vacuum your carpets?

No carpets - but I vacuum at least once a week because it's super dusty here, and always just before going and just as soon as I come back.

Do you donate (time, money, whatever) to charity?

I donate more time than money. I volunteer for three hours a week at a crisis nursery for kids 0-5, and work for non-profits though I'm not sure if that counts.

When was the last time you saw a baby?

money fairly regularly, time sometimes

do you have a credit card?

Yes. I keep the limit at $1000 though so I can't get lots of debt.

Do you think you get your 5 servings of vegetables in a day?

Sometimes. Yesterday I definitely did because I cooked all our meals at home, but sometimes there are days when I end up eating ramen as a meal or something.

What is the oldest electronic device or appliance that you currently possess? (Excluding fridges/stoves etc. if you rent and don't actually own them)

Probably my radio alarm clock. . . I've had it for thirteen-fourteenish years, and it's still going strong.

Are you and your sibling(s) close?

Yes! My brothers are my best friends. I'm really lucky.
What is the hair color of the last person you hugged?

That'd be biker boy, so brown shot through with a little gray

When was the last time you held a baby?

A few months ago when I visited my aunt/uncle/cousin.

What's your favorite way to cheer yourself up when you're feeling down?

By cuddling a squeaky guinea pig.

What is your favourite sort of flower?

I've always been partial to sprayroses.

What's your favorite beverage?

Sunflowers

What's the weather like where you are right now?

Hot chocolate, and it's hot out.

What's your favorite hot-weather drink?

Sparkling water with juice in it.

Do you like having a boxspring under your mattress or do you do without?

I've always strongly preferred futons to spring mattresses. Actually, now that I think of it, the last time I had a spring mattress was when I was a teenager and still living with my dad. I have some vague memories of having a daybed as a preteen with no boxspring, and thinking it was really uncomfortable. If the mattress is just right on the floor or wooden slats it's probably fine without though.

Do you have any special tricks you use to keep your stuff organized?

Every thing has its place and I put things away about as soon as I'm done with them as possible.

What was the last dessert you ate?

Triple chocolate cake, with vanilla yogurt and some glasses of chocolate soymilk.


What's your favorite soup?

Split pea or lentil.
