My dad grew up there and his whole family still lives there. I'll check you guys out the next time I visit them!

Great! Let me know when you'll be in town next - hopefully we can plan something to include you (and your family, if they're interested!).
If you know of any good/fun things to do in the tri-cities, I'd love to hear about them. I've lived here a year, and I feel like there must be more than what I've found so far.

Oh, I was hoping you were in Spokane, since I'm in Coeur d'Alene. It's cool you found a potluck. Now that I'm done with school, I'm thinking I should start a monthly one up here, and see who I can find to eat delicious vegan food with me. Have fun in the tri-cities :)

yea - I'm in the lesser known desert of Washington. Whenever I talk to someone from (my old) home about WA, all I get is "oh, it must be rainy" ... Washington may be one of the least-known states in the union - I've lived here for a year and still don't know much about it.
Of course - I came here from TN, so every time I told someone there that I was moving to WA, she just assumed DC. It was kind of a let down to have to say everytime, "No, WA the state, not the district."

I'm in Spokane. Why are you moving back to the cold side of the state, H-dog?
