Signed! The good life stuff is quite nice and isn't quorn, but it's quite traditionally vegetarian isn't it? (I mean that in the nicest way!) sometimes you just want fake meat dammit, and it's really frustrating to have shelf after shelf of egg filled nonsense!

I would love to see Redwoods in larger shops too. I feel dirty when I go into H&B. (hate the "omg you have to take this supplement or you will surely die" mentality)

(hate the "omg you have to take this supplement or you will surely die" mentality) Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons, Sainsburys and Asda have all stocked Redwoods over the years - Waitrose sold their fake meat more than 12 years ago, Asda had their own range created by Redwoods etc.

Asda stuff is made by Redwoods? Interesting... the only Asda by us is quite small (for an Asda), so I don't imagine they'll have anything there. It might be worth the journey to have a look, though. Thanks!
Morrisons definitely has Redwoods stuff, although it's disappearing under the waxing tide of Quorn in our nearest one. All the more reason to shop locally and independently, I suppose.

That is interesting to know. I can't bring myself to do Asda because of the WalMart connection. :) I wish there was a Morrisons near here! Waitrose used to stock loads of their stuff, but not for a few years.
Our local shops are disappearing too. There is one local shop here in Oxford (plus one in Witney), but they are hideously inconsistent with what they stock and special ordering is unpredictable as well. The ladies who work there are fab, but it's really hard to shop there for things you need regularly (like soap, for instance).

I used to see a few redwoods items in morrisons and waitrose. Now all I see is their cheatin slices - the beef ones and the turkey/herb style ones. As both of those are minging I don't bother.
I wish more of the supermarkets' own brands' stuff were vegan but they keep putting freakin egg in things.

I wish more of the supermarkets' own brands' stuff were vegan but they keep putting freakin egg in things. i know asda's tvp and chicken style pieces are egg-free (last time i checked anyway) but i think that's about it for their vegan suitable meat-free range
