My friend does the 30 Day Shred and it kicks her asparagus. She likes it.

It's yoga done the Jillian way, which means reps of the positions, rather than staying in one position for a few breaths. I've got 30 Day Shred, and it kicks my butt. I thought I was in decent shape when I started it over the summer, and I almost didn't make it through the 20 min, level 1 workout. But the more I did it, and I alternated level 1, level 2, level 3, back to level 1, etc. because I didn't want to do the same thing every day, and I was getting stronger. Then life got in the way, and right now I'm scared to start it again since I know it'll be rough.

I'm looking to get my asparagus kicked. When I'm at the gym and I feel like I can't do another rep, I seriously sometimes picture her on my shoulder yelling at me. It usually helps me crank out a couple more reps. Then I feel tough. True story.

I just ordered the 4 dvd set:
30 Day Shred No More Trouble Zones Yoga Meltdown Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism
- - - - -
I've done 30 Day Shred (lev. 1) and Yoga Meltdown before. I liked both... they were good workouts!

I have 30 Day Shred and find it really hard, I never got past the first level either. I also have a Biggest Loser one with Bob and Jillian and another girl but I don't remember the name right now. I might sell them now that I have roommates who would judge me for huffing and puffing along to Jillian. But they're really ass-kicking.

I like the 30 day shred but can someone tell me whether you're supposed to do each level for 30 days or each for 10 days to equal 30 days total. The first time I did the 30 day Shred, I did levels 1 and 2 right in a row. I don't recommend that if you want to be able to walk the next day.

I believe you are supposed to do each level for 10 days, for a total of 30 days, but really you are supposed to do each level until you are comfortable with moving on, and then move on. I never actually did 10 10 10, I just used the 30 shred dvd A LOT. Did lots of level 1 and 2, some level 3...and whichever I felt like doing on that day. I combined them for a longer workout sometimes. (and don't watch Natalie because she cheats)

I had No More Trouble Zones DVD and thought the workout itself was good, but I couldn't deal with her abrasive personality. The final straw was the heinous "Bonus Feature" that was really a promotion for a toothbrush or something. I gave the DVD away. If you get along with her style, her workouts have the reputation of being tough and effective.

I like the 30 day shred, but I do it with the sound off because she is so abrasive and the music is terrible.

They look pretty hardcore too http://mytrainerbobdvd.com/aboutdvds.htmlI have his strength one and his yoga one, and I like them both, though I haven't had them long. I've only been able to get through the beginner portion of the strength, but I watched the hour long portion the other night, and at one point, one of Bob's back-up people seriously looks like they're going to hurl, so I'm waiting until I get more stamina. His yoga dvd is awesome. I love it. You work really hard, but you do feel relaxed and stretched out at the end. And I never thought I'd be so happy to use downward-facing dog as a break.

I ordered it off Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Jillian-Michaels- ... 651&sr=8-1$26 ain't bad for all 4 DVDs. Plus I had a $25 gift card from my bday, and got super saver shipping, so I couldn't resist. :-)

I have done the kettlebell one a few times. I like it but it moves to fast for me...Like one second I am on the ground, the next I am doing lunges...

She loves to get you up, down, up down, up... I haven't done the kettle ball one, but she does that in some of her other workouts.
