Has anyone been? I might have to go here tonight. It looks like only the pho might be veganizable.

Is it this place? The online menu appears to be from 2010, but a few things look like they could be vegan-friendly. They haven't labelled the kimchi as veg, which might be an indication that the dishes that do have a 'v' are fish-bits free.

(Bring a handbag full of pretzels and order all the cocktails. Especially that elderflower/merlot combo.)

I know I'm not the only one hoping to see Randi drunk posting in here later.

Somewhat completely off topic, but those flat pretzels are the shizz*.

YEAHHH! If you need to buy more to take with you, I'll take the trip again fo sho.

K I'm not drunk. I actually ate well! They have things marked with V for vegan now! Buttt I couldn't have pho because THEY RAN OUT OF VEGETABLE BROTH! Who does that! I was like, why don't you just boil some water with all the spices...and thus make more broth? No I didn't say that. But they made this really good fried tofu and made a big noodly salady bowl. And I had tofu veg summer rolls. So I'm quite full and not drunk enough to have dealt with the dinner conversation OF CRAZY PEOPLE.

If they're making it "properly", it can take an hour or so to get a good stock. Why they don't have an emergency box of bouillon is beyond me, though.

Oh sure yes it takes time, but I wanted pho so badly I would have settled for spiced water if it meant I got noodles.
