I was chatting with Sal from Jay's Cheesesteak on Divasadero last week. I asked him why he doesn't have vegan cheese. He actually seemed ignorant of it. That surprised me, with so many local pizza chains adopting it. But hey, we're a tiny part of all consumers. However...

Sal said that if a half a dozen or more people wanted to set a date to come in and get 100% vegan chessesteaks with Daiya and vegan mayo, he'd do it! This sounds like a job for Grub With Us, but I thought I'd see if anyone on the PPK was interested. Let me know, and I'll make it happen!
