i've encountered this same thing as well and it's immensely frustrating. i've even exchanged quite a number of really awesome messages with people and when it came to actually meeting in person, i didn't hear another word. it's very disappointing. i suppose the only thing i could say is just be patient? the guy i'm currently dating, i mostly just agreed to go out with him because he was so willing to exchange messages and once we got a sense of one another, he asked me out.

I got a message from a complete charmer who was complaining about my having viewed his profile (which wasn't even deliberate) without writing to him. This was followed by another message about three minutes later. Upon checking this guy's questions I found that he thinks the man should be the head of the household, abortion should be illegal, and that there are circumstances under which someone is obligated to have sex (who the hell answers yes to that?). Aaaaand blocked!

I have scandal for you guys. One of my friends just got dumped and she's super upset. These guys were gonna get married and everything and he changed drastically through out the relationship. Total scumbag, totally full of himself, and he's going out of his way to look like he's "over her". Within one day of breaking up, this forker is on okcupid. How do I know? I see his ugly mug checking out my profile. Ugh.

Had an awesome date that ended up lasting almost nine hours. With in the first 30 minutes we had already kissed. We spent most of the next day together too, there was lots of making out. The next morning i felt sad, like im not ready to move on after my breakup. My heart not healed. Wes skyped yesterday we talked for 3 hours, both of us were in tears. We both share we like the other, but both have healing hearts. Its confusing for me. But we're still gonna spend time with eachother, nothing exclusive, and just see what happens. So weird, so nice to open up to eachother, made me feel very close, but sad that its in these odd circumstances :(.

August 31st I was busy packing and I sent a stupid "Packing is the most boring thing ever. Please recommend ways to make it less boring!" to a random person in a far away city with no expectation of a response. And, if I did get a response, no expectation of meeting them ever. But apparently they're visiting my current neighbourhood today so we're spontaneously getting coffee at a place which, it turns out, is a mutually beloved Toronto coffee place. Craziness. Probably just a platonic internet meetup, but still cool because friends are awesome.

Yep, that's me! I've written a few things for them--I guess I'm technically signed on as an official writer now but they are too swamped to do stuff like add me to their team page. There's going to be a whole series on OKC and it should be ready soon but I want it to be up noooow.
