Yeah, I love the Mac N Cheese with a healthy drizzle of Frank's... mmm:o) The creamy tomato basil pasta is a regular here too.... so easy but so good.

the thing i've noticed about the book is that the recipes are usually awesome or horrible - just me? that chili lime tofu is great.

So far everything I've had was great except for the broccoli mushroom bake, which was one of the most tragically awful things I've ever eaten. I think I only ate a few bites. But people are raving about it upthread, so.... Yay that she's blogging again!

I made the tamarind tofu cabbage bowl today (with one extra carrot and onions and garlic) and it was very good!

I always really liked the delicata squash bisque. It was the recipe that made me realize that I liked winter squash, years ago. Never bought the book though. I may be wrong, but I felt like most of the recipes in the book were already on her blog/iPhone app. Am I wrong? I'm not going to buy it either way, but I'm just curious.

The last couple of weeks I've made the creamy barley and the peanut/lime noodles with seitan. I wasn't a fan of the barley. It didn't taste much at all. Didn't eat the leftovers.
But the peanut noodles were awesome! I used soba noodles and used cabbage instead of kale. I've had this idea that I don't like lime juice in peanut sauce but it was seriously yummy and fruity. Next time I'd double the sauce.
The sesame noodles are great too, I've made that sauce several times.

I think about a third of the recipes are available on her blog. Love Child wrote: But the peanut noodles were awesome! I used soba noodles and used cabbage instead of kale. I made the seitan from the tofu scramble with seitan sausage: it was much more bready than other seitan I've made before. Still liked it, though, although I just ate it without making the scramble. :)
