I'm not clear on what a jumper is! eep! I will have to educate myself.

I have my Sharpie pens at work that I love. They are the best.

I like my enormous green Nalgene.

Do you like online chats?

Online chats? Like chatting with strangers? No, not at all. I do use Gmail chat to keep in touch with some friends, though.

If you had to move overseas and could only bring five things from your kitchen, what would you choose?

Junky PB, Clif bars, a drip-style coffee maker, a ginormous bag of dark-roast coffee (to be made in the drip-style coffee maker), and the Leahey Garden g-f mac and cheese mix. Yeah. . . I don't like convenience foods at all.

What TV show(s) are you loving right now?

I'm watching Lost again on Netflix with a friend who's never seen it. I forgot that it's actually kind of awesome.

How did you meet the last person you texted?

The last person I texted was my brother, so it's kinda obvious.

Do you like talking on the phone?

Not really, just my immediate family/boyfriend if I'm out of town and not that often. It's interesting, because I remember spending hours as a teenager tethered via phone cord to the kitchen wall, and nowadays my friends seem mostly interested in keeping touch via email/Facebook/etc. and I've grown out of the habit of talking on the phone at all.

What did you get in trouble for most often as a teenager?

Acts of Social Justice™ (staging anti-war protests at school and attending anti-war rallies in SF; becoming vegan; getting involved with groups demanding equal rights, etc. etc.).

Most embarrassing moment? (Or one of them, anyway...)

Hmm, that's tough, I don't embarrass very easily. One time years ago I got sent home from work for reeking too strongly of booze/generally being a hungover dipshit. I didn't get in trouble for it, because it was not something that had ever happened before and I think my boss knew it and realized that I'd just partied a little too hard and a little too late the night before, but I still felt like such a heel.

What's your favorite piece of furniture in your home?

I own two: a bed and a desk. of those, probably the bed. it's the first time I've owned a bed in yearssssss, and it's lovely.

is the glass half empty or half full?

Maybe the glass is just too big.

Autumn, although it never lasts long enough where I live.

dawn. but I'm rarely conscious enough to enjoy it

what time do you normally wake up?

Usually around 9ish. If I had a really late night, maybe 10-11. Any later than that, and I feel like the entire day has been wasted.

When do you usually go to bed?

11pm recently; but I prefer 8-9pm so I can wake up a few hours before sunrise.

Is it fall yet? (Or spring, if you're in the southern hemisphere?)

It still feels pretty summery here (in New York) to me. It's been in the 70s (Fahrenheit) all week.

Of all the cookbooks you own, which do you love the most?

VwaV. It was the first vegan cookbook I bought, so it'll always hold a special place in my heart.

What is your most used cookbook?

Probably 500 Vegan Recipes.. or maybe Veganomicon.

Would you rather live in the desert or somewhere that's rainy and cloudy most of the time, like Seattle?
