Sooooo, I think I'm actually dating tattoo guy. We've hung out 5 times in 3 weeks, had a big fall out last weekend over a misinterpreted text and a huge fail at communication, followed by a pretty good apology (fair play to him). We were going to just hang out again as friends, but the attraction is too strong for that not to be torture. So, we've agreed that we'd like to try dating each other, proper like, just us, no other dates.

It's nice that someone who's gotten to know me more in real life, and not via the internet, still wants to date me and missed me during the few days where we both thought it was all off. I'm wary, thanks to recent experiences, so, we'll just see.

Sounds like my ex, except that she's 27...Actually she doesn't cook much (now more, but maybe not as she lives with her mom) but will help with chopping and doing dishes.

Buut, heeeey, its also me. Southern accent isn't significan't, only been here 5 years but it pops up.

Yay Fezza, good luck!

I had a nice date today with a PhD student who is doing some weird IT research. We had a nice walk in the park, a beer, and relax in the sun. We did click, so some kisses followed, and then we came to my place and played around a bit. I am really enjoying this period of my life, what can I say.

I find it way easier to talk to anyone on OKC, to be honest. (Most dating sites in the Netherlands are so extremely serious, and filled with people in office jobs who desperately want to have babies. I like it that OKC is laid back and that being vegan/having tattoos/an unconventional life is more common.)

I've never really tried to meet guys on okcupid, mostly because I'm not interested in them... but I find it a little difficult to meet girls on there! Seems like if I meet someone interesting, we talk and talk and talk and then fizzle out/never meet, or they are seriously not for me. BUT I have had a few successful dates/meetings. :)

Wow. I had the most amazing date of my life yesterday. It was a guy on okc that I met up with spur of the moment. I hope we can at least be friends because he's truly inspiring. We met up for a pint then walked around the city park at dark. He showed me his favorite sculpture in the park and we had some pretty deep intense convo. He's the most mellow, chill person I've ever met and makes me want to be a better person. We ended the night with a hug and quick kiss and he asked if I wanted to hang out again. I hope he really meant it but if not I'm content for having experienced a magical night with an incredible guy.
