Heck yeah it counts. I'm looking forward to Bob's Burgers, the Big Bang Theory, and Criminal Minds (even though I'm behind on watching the last season). I also liked 2 Broke Girls even though I didn't watch it every week. My favorite show on cable is Adventure Time on Cartoon Network, but they already have new episodes each week.

It shares a co-creator with Supernatural. Now I'm expecting shirtless dudes with Batman voices, and dead people who won't stay dead. yep, so, awesome. eta: do we mean kripke?

Returning Up All Night Suburgatory Once Upon a Time Parenthood Gossip Girl ( I have no shame) Supernatural (probably, we just started watching it on Netflix and I like it so far)
New Nashville (I'm a big FNL fan, so I'm psyched for Connie Britton, the husband was a Heroes fan so he's excited for Hayden Panettiere as well as Connie, and plus Lucky from General Hospital is on it, and that used to be my stories)
Nothing else has totally grabbed my attention, I might check out 666, Arrow, and Beauty and the Beast, but I'm more inclined to just re-watch stuff I love on Netflix. Every time I get into a new show it gets cancelled, so I usually wait and see what sticks at this point.

Anyone watching Copper right now? Set in 1800's NYC- Irish detective as main character- lots and lots of prostitutes . Very edgy and engrossing. They are running it on BBC- American Horror Story returns Oct. 17th. Wonder how that's going to be.......

Another one just started advertising that looks good: the Mob Doctor! It has Jordana Spiro as the doctor in the lead, and I really love her! Argh, i don't know if I will have time to watch it, though. If any of you are watching, report back with a verdict on how the show is!

i keep hearing scott speedman's name in connection with some show. i don't know what it's called or what it's about, but i guess i'll watch it. i'm also looking forward to cult (maybe naively), but i don't think that starts until early 2013.

Does the TV version of Game of Thrones cover all four books? I'm on the last book right now...
I will watch: The Office (though I have to agree it's not the same w/o Carrell) 30 Rock American Idol (maybe, I usually like the auditions to see all the awful people singing!) The Voice (I don't know only watched a few episodes last season...) X Factor (is Cowell on it this year?) Biggest Loser Dirty Jobs Down Under Intervention Hoarders (this is a good filler when nothing else is on) Heroes
I will watch past seasons of Game of Thrones once I finish the final book!

Here are my reviews of the new shows I've seen so far. This post is pretty great; you should probably read it.
The Mindy Project. Somebody finally successfully adapted Cathy to television.
Revolution. Nothing about this show makes any forking sense. Did nobody in this world think to build a steam engine? Or does fire not work, for some forking reason? Sure, whatever; I'm sure the big mystery will explain that in like seven years. DUN DUN. (That's the sound effect from Law & Order because I can't remember the one from Lost.) They can't even keep the dialog coherent for like two sentences. Google dude says "I would trade it all for a roll of Charmin" or whatever, but, no you wouldn't, because you just finished explaining that you don't have it anymore. Also, what is it about technology failing that would suddenly cause someone to be named Caleb?
The New Normal. Say what you will about Ryan Murphy--the man knows how to make a pilot. There's no reason that I, a proud conservative, should be interested in this show. But here I am, kind of liking it. I just wish he could sustain that level of interest for more than ah season.

Ryan Murphy managed to keep Nip/Tuck interesting for three seasons! And then paraded it around for what, three more like its name was Bernie.

Yeah, but firearms do work. My longer, one-man-act version of my review of Revolution goes into the fact that firearms work while the internal combustion engine apparently doesn't in detail.
