Hello MoFo readers!

In an effort to make Vegan MoFo 2012 the best ever, we want more of your feedback! So, tell us. What kind of MoFo posts do you remember loving?

For example: Do you love picture-heavy recipe posts? Do you love to read about soup? Maybe your favorite posts involve photos of furry friends. List 'em here! Your input can help us when it comes time to do roundups and might even help a blogger out.

I really enjoy post that are picture heavy on a recipe or from vegan restaurants. I find they inspire me to try new things. I do enjoy post about basic personal stuff about being vegan.

I get excited by clever combinations of ingredients and posts where people tell stories about the foods they're making. I appreciate photos when they really add something to the post, like all the adorable treats on Fork and Beans last year...but generally I'd rather read about food than look at it, and I'm super super underwhelmed by posts that are just photos.

I like the ones where people have a theme that's broad enough that it all ties together, but isn't boring- world food stuff is always my favourite. And I really liked Amey's theme last year, with a different spice each day. I got a ton of ideas for things to make from that. Things where people have a different theme for each day of the week are usually pretty good at keeping my attention, too.

I'm not so into the stuff that's about using one core ingredient all month, unless it's a really good one that can be used in a lot of different ways (like beer!).

I, too, loved Amey's spice theme (and the around the world theme she used the year before). Erinnerung's street food theme was another favourite last year and I really liked Joyfulgirl's pumpkin theme (featuring kitten!). Jojo's weekday themes were cool as well, I especially enjoyed new food Fridays. I'm probably forgetting lots of greats because there were so many!

I love world food (especially stuff that isn't already familiar to me) and fall food and Halloween so those tend to be my favourites. I like stories about the food and I like pictures to break up the text. Recipes are nice and so are reviews of cookbooks/recipes used in a post. I also enjoy seeing what other vegans eat on a daily basis. Plus I'm a nerd so geeky themes always delight me.

I'd like to see someone blog about eating vegan food in a very rural area where it's difficult to find a lot of specialty ingredients!

I really like recipes with pictures for each step of the way.

Personal stories to go along with recipes are always great too!

Pictures of animals/pets are of course fabulous as well.

Hey Erin and fruitbat, thanks for the props on my mofo efforts! That means a lot to me!

I'm not being too ambitious this year... I'm still feeling a bit tired after getting married just a month ago. But I do have plans to use up lots of crazy stuff that has been taking up space in my pantry.

Also, I already have an insanely great international theme lined up for next year. I can hardly wait!

-

In general, I really love the blogs that have a strong theme, so I'll know ahead of time whether or not I will be into it. I love international foods, I love unusual ingredients, and I love a good project ( like John Plummer is doing a different recipe for every state!) I just love dorky stuff like that.
