Ive scoured plenty of sites now but have only found 1 or 2 places that seem promising. I was hoping someone around these parts might have some secret spots to recommend? We were considering taking the train to Rutherford Pancake house in Jersey if we wake in time but 2 hours spent commuting is a little rough.

The commute to Rutherford isn't 2 hours! Its about 30 mins from Penn Station/Port Authority!

Oh but that was round trip:) If we took the trains to get up to Port Authority, it'd take about 20 minutes... it's a bit longer than the commute we usually have (or don't)

How about Sacred Chow? They serve breakfast on weekends, and the menu clearly marks which dishes are gluten free.
