Recent eats: Ratatouille, Slow Cooker Pizza, Za'atar Tofu ..

I've been cooking up a storm this summer and here a few of the tastiest items I've whipped up!

Ratatouille:

Cheese-stuffed homemade ravioli:

Za'atar Tofu:

Savory Corn Pancakes with IKEA caviar:

Grilled Sambal Oelek Tofu with Peanut Butter Sauce:

Pasta with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce and Caramelized Shallots:

Deconstructed Taro Root Bubble Tea:

Spring Onion and Chili Pepper Sauce:

what the fizzle. This food is insane, and so is the photography. Do you have a cookbook yet? Or will you come to my house and cook for me?

That ratatouille is gorge... reminds me of the one from the movie!

Your pictures look like perfectly styled cookbook photos, and your food looks like something I would happily pay more than I can afford to eat in a fancy restaurant with white linens and a one-syllable name.

Yum! I agree with what everyone else has said; gorgeous food, gorgeous pictures! And people assume eating vegan food is "boring". Pfft!

Thanks everybody for your nice comments! One of my favorite things to do is to cook for other people, so I would love to do that! Although the cooking and styling is my doing, my husband takes the photos. A pretty good arrangement, and we both get to "make sure" it's good enough for the blog at the end. : )

That ratatouille is ridiculously gorgeous. So is that spring onion chili sauce.

I made the Sambal tofu last week, and didn't read the instructions all the way. Typical KK. I marinated the tofu in the sambal/peanut oil mixture. Thankfully, by the time I was ready to cook it, I reread the recipe, so I knew the popping seeds would be an issue. I put a lid on top, so the seeds and most of the pepper steam were contained. Tasty stuff, despite my screw up. I can't wait to try it the way you posted, with the sambal as more of a glaze. I think it'll be even better.

That's so cool you tried the recipe out -- thank you! Yes, those seeds are like little bullets when they hit a hot pan. I love sambal though and it's perfect on tofu!

Ah, sambal is great stuff. Pops is from Indonesia so it was quite the table condiment growing up. And your ratatouille is ridiculously beautiful. If it tastes even half as good as it looks it would still be amazing.

Za'atar tofu is such a great idea. I made a couple of sandwiches with it for dinner tonight after reading this thread. They were delicious!
